So i love my crockpot but seem to only do the same cuts of meat in it. What cuts of meats do you use and what do you make with them?

I am always using our slowcooker.

I do sausages. Anything really devilled, curry, or sometimes i just add anything in with them.

I pretty much do all the maggi meals in the slow cooker. I just chuck in everything raw & cook all day.

I buy cheap cuts of beef and make stews etc.

An easy one i normally do is, cut beef, onions, carrots, 1 tin of mushroom soup, tin of chopped tomatoes, herbs, 1 oxo cube disolved in water. I cook it all day and have with mashed potato & veges, or also bread rolls is nice.

I always do chicken pieces in there aswel.

I use Steak Mince for Chilli and Spag Bol.

I use Chuck, and Blade Steak for stews.

Shoulder Chops for Irish Stew.

My family don't like sausages or chicken in the CP for some reason...

I use a lot of the packet mixes too, either the maggi or mccormick, or my own 'creations!

If I'm using chicken, I trim the skin off and normally use drumsticks, apricot chicken is a favourite.

cheap beef for currys, packet mixes, stews etc.

Corned beef yummy cooked in a bottle of ginger ale rather than water.

Mince - a tomato based one for spag bol etc, or chilli

I also make soup, with or without 'bones'

Vege and lentil curry is DS's fav!!

We arent so keen on sausages in there as find they sometimes go kinda mushy!

I use either chuck or blade for beef. Half a leg of lamb or a whole chicken. Sometimes a rolled rib roast.

I just did chicken legs with the chicken chasseur sachets and DP 'd them!! He usually hates anything with bones, so they were definitely a winner!

I usually buy cheap steak like chuck or blade, and chop that up with some carrots and potatoes, and a can of tomato soup with 2tspn of beef stock (not made up, any extra water makes the stew too runny)

Lamb knuckles are a fave here too!

you can put a whole chicken in on low/auto all day. and its divine. falls off the bones.

can be flavoured with a bit of marinade or soy sauce rubbed on.

and the natural juice that drains makes a yummo gravy.

we have home kill beef and venison so use the 'stew' meat which is like blade from the supie to make casseroles.

chicken legs/boneless thighs and a packet of flavour for a chicken dish.

lamb necks/nuckles/shanks are yummy.

mince to make bolognase/chilli con carne/nacho mix

sausages to make devilled/curried/tomato and herb..you know the maggi sachets
