i've been using wipes which are printed flannel and microfleece. my fb are getting wee bits of coloured pilly bitS all over them. starting to look yuck! what would be the best fabric to make some wipes out of? does coloured microfleece give off pills? or do i need to be boring and just buy white? could look pretty nasty after a while though!

i dont make wipes but the greenbeans one are paired with sherpa, or bamboo, some are velour and cotton terry and others just two layers of flannel... some combinations to play round with there.
I just buy those little baby flannels and use them as my wipes. nice and soft and clean up great.

Thanks GandT. What colour flannels do you use? Do they not leave any fluff on your nappies? We used to use flannels. To start with I was washing the cloths sep from the nappies but that was a pain and I figured it wasn't every eco friendly so I bought some Tweedle wipes. But the FB are starting to look yucky. Just not winning!

Where's mine coming from then?? Do you think it could be from the blue printed microfleece liners I made?? I have more FB on the way. Don't want them to get all pilled too, so need to solve the pilling mystery. lol
