well its not something you need to worry about tho is it?

Oh and did you all know that the mooncup came out the same time tampons did? so they have been around for the same amount of time.

I had heard this, I just wish it had been more out there so younger people knew about them (I would of prefered one over the amount of money my mum spend on stuff for me as a teenager sometimes bleeding everyday for months on end).

ahhhhh but if they had been promoted as much as tampons think how much money those tampon companies would have lost!!!

Kinda like how disposable companies make so much money, they have more money to push thier products and therefore get more money from poor consumers who aren't aware they had other options!

I've been mulling over this for a while, but can't really imagine myself "selling" (telling about) mooncups to teenagers But then, I haven't tried one either. I'm of the opinion that I'll save myself a heap of tampons/pads by having so many babies!!! j/k

But what happens when all your daughters are teenagers? Then it will be costing you! Just had mental images of 3 (maybe more?) hormonal teenage girls

I agree!! The last time I went near a tampon (just before I got a mooncup) I couldn't get it away from me fast enough. Yuk!

i dont see how a mooncup could be more gross than a tampon?! they essentially sit in the same place, you have to put them there and you have to take them out again.

I'm with you. For me it's the kind of thing that I want to just get rid off, not have to double handle things to tip the stuff out.

Each to their own though, and I'm glad there are different options available for everyone.

as it is also referred to as "having your rags"

Old curtains or sheets, cut into pieces work well but they bunch up & ya get bad chaff LOL LOCIA ain't cool tho with the clots & gunk- i opt for the pads "other" people have touched & machines have put together etc etc

LMAO will sanitary pads & tampons stand this test of time or will earth die before man?

I agree!! And with pads....you have them sitting around your house until rubbish day. Yuk!! At least with reusbale ones I can chuck them through the wash with the nappies and I don't have blood soaked pads sitting in my rubbish.

I just had a look on greenbeans website and it talks about different sizes (diameters) of mooncups. Does 3mm make that much difference?

I presume it would do otherwise I suppose they wouldn't put out the different options....purely guessing though!! .

I have the larger one and it's perfect though.
