Seems we were lucky and there was no waiting list. Okay there was but the family in front of me wanted for two kids. I did tell them not to push me in and rather wait but it seems it was fine with the other family.
She enjoyed today. Made a huge huge mess. Lets just say her tummy is totally blue. Should start course one soon. Seems they are eager for some people to finish the courses as they are going to run in trouble next year if someone doesnt do course 3. Or finish it. So will try my best to get the stuff done as soon as I can around my exams. She went down for a nap for 2 hours. (which since birth never ever happened.) ------------- http://lilypie.com">

yay - I can't beleive there is a waiting list for playcentre though. There is plenty of room in our local one - although I don't go anymore.
I have training as well and did feel a wee bit pressured to do all the courses and get ponts for the centre. Mostly the reason why i stopped going and changed to Kindy. Kids have lots of fun - I used to love squishing my fingers with the finger paint. ------------- Ann

This side to seem to have a waiting list up to 6 months sometimes. Apparently they need at least one course 3 member at each session otherwise they are not allowed to hold a session that day. So they are running into problems next year.
Dont mind doing courses around time and seems they are going to make it that you can bring your child and some other moms can take care of her. So yay for me. Sorry just really excited. Although also a bit tired today.  She kept on running in the rain and me after her again. ------------- http://lilypie.com">

Don't be sorry its cool that you like it. I must of sounded negative. My son josh really enjoyed it there and I went on the committy and did the news letter for a year before leaving and the families were great. I was younger than most of the families too (I was 22 and the next would of been around 35) ------------- Ann

| i loved our playcentre and when i wasn't working it was fantastic. as for course one - ask if anyone else can lend you their book. Sometimes people wioll, and sometimes they will obey the "thou will not cheat and copy off others". no course 3 person means no funding for that day I'm pretty sure. good for you! |
