Not only do I now drive a people mover, I am also now the proud owner of an industrial size washing machine. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I am now officially a domestic goddess! Willie nearly fell over when he saw the size of it, 7.5kg of washing capacity, I'm sure not even my three grubs can create that much dirty laundry can they?

*sigh* Is this how I envisioned my life turning out? Oh so terribly glamorous...

Hehehe ist a bit scary aye Emma when you see history repeating itself, we got the people mover at the beginning of the year but I settled for the 6.5kg washer when we bought a couple of years ago .... I soooo wanted to get the 7.5kg but thought even I wouldn't be able to fill that (and fit it all on the line at once!!!)

I hate the times when I hear myself 'saying' what my mother says

My latest catchphrase is "we'll see...", usually in response to Maya asking "can I have something/go somewhere/do something/stand on my head?" and every time I say it I hear my mum saying it to me. And it drives Maya nuts!

he he he.... well since you've got the mummy-van and the industrial washer, why not go the whole hog and wear nothing but high-waisted mum-jeans and practical shoes (OK I'm guilty of the shoes one sometimes), get a mum-haircut (just ask for 'something I can just wash and wear - no styling necessary and preferrably no style at all, thanks') and invest in a few floral aprons... better still, needlepoint some!!

Man, I need to get a haircut.

Ah shoot. We don't even HAVE grubs and we have a 7.5kg washing machine and yes, we fill it constantly.

My mum used to always screech about me wearing short tops and that I needed to'cover my kidneys'. Of course, I used to complain loudly about Mum being unfashionable and ridiculous and all sorts. Now, I find myself going shopping, checking the length of tops and declaring that they don't cover my kidneys and putting them back ... and then turning to find Al huddle in a corner peeing himself laughing.

we have a 7.5kg machine too, and we fill it, we do around 2 loads a day mostly, sometimes more... and that's with only bathing the kids every 2 days. but when you count our clothes and their clothes (of which sometimes they both come home from daycare with 2 full sets that need washing) plus bottom cloths and face clothes/hand wiper clothes..well, we do alot of washing.

And with the tops ginger.. i'm a bit the same, I remember mum saying that.. to which i would reply smartly that my kidneys were up higher than that.

lol
how embarassing is this, the other day we were out without wet wipes so I licked a hankie and wiped Jacks face with it. My mum used to always do that and i hated it lol

I cringe every time I say to the older kids 'you school years are the best years of your life - and easiest' and hear my parents 'I told you so' echo in the back ground...

I discovered that my Mum was right when she said "if you eat too much ice cream you'll be sick" when I took my DSD and niece to Denny's and let them eat as much ice cream as they liked. They both threw up. Lesson learned.
