When you are viewing a post, and you realise that (yet again, I keep getting logged out) you are not logged in.. so you go to post and it says you must log in first to reply. After you log in, it takes you back to the main page.. when you were actually wanting to reply to a post.. so you have to go and find it again.

On other forums, you get taken right back to the page you were about to post in. Is it possible to change this?

Oooh, and since we're asking questions for Admin... is there enough interest out there for a forum for single parent support?  Seems lots of ladies would have use for it, and those of us partnered up rant away or talk our partners up all over the place here already, but there doesn't seem to be much space for those going it alone to do the same.

instead of having a whole new section could you not start a thread in the parenting section for single parents and get admin to sticky it...you know like the october mums etc...

oh and another one...searching for the posts from a particular member as part of the search function. That way if you know who started a topic you can use their name to look for it... like TNN have a "search all posts by this user" function???

You can do this - if you go to search then in "search for" type the member, then "search in" by username. Only problem I find with this is it just brings up the thread posted in and doesn't go straight to the actual post so if its something 10 pages long you have to trawl through it to find it.

Oh and how about having photo gallery show up in active topics (if you are a senior member of course). I tend to only use active topics and forget about the photos

Ah yes, this has always bugged me. Why can't those headers be links?

Deb do you have extra time on your hands today? lol

What about, when you sign into your PM and you have 5 or less spaces in your inbox, it brings up a reminder (each time). Like, "You have 26 messages in your inbox. You can only receive 4 more messages" and you have to press OK??

Gee Deb, you *must* be bored!

I've only popped on for a couple of minutes while the gremlins are sleeping, about to go and clean up Princess Maya's Pigsty (aka her room ), but I will come back later when I've got more time and have a look at some of these. Ang, Katherine and I were discussing some of updates that are scheduled to be done over the next few months and there are some exciting new features coming too like a Birth Announcements section on the main site where you can post a pic and announce your new bub, E-cards for birthday/baby shower invites and congratulations, coloring competitions and activities to print and do with your toddlers/preschoolers and we are also looking into the possibility of blog-hosting on the site so you guys would be able to have your own blogs hosted thru OHbaby! instead of say blogspot or blogger.

Back later!

I read through everything when I first joined but now I only read the boards as well. The only things I have read in the past year not including the boards are gingers thing and the dad diary.

Will pass this one on to the tech team to see if they can add an extra Post Reply button at the top. Not sure if it's possible tho coz I think the forum software we use has a standard format, hence why we can't add more emoticons etc.

You have to care! It's the content on the main site that attracts the page impressions that dictate our income and without it we couldn't support the costs of the message boards! Plus it's what Katherine and I get paid to write!

Is there any chance of having bigger PM inboxes?? While we are on the topic of stuff for admin. I know it has been mentioned before but nothing further was said.

PS. BS, we could maybe have a Working Mums support board in the support section too? Altho would that be just dividing things up too much and having too many boards?

I agree! Us working Mums (and Dads) need a bit more support, a board in the support section would be perfect

Actually I do have a serious suggestion. When we are posting, could we have that we can highlight something and press ctrl B to make it bold? or highlight and click size and it puts the tags around it instead of opening a dialog box?
