I am trying to think of events from 2007 to write in my baby book. So far I have Tony Blair resigning and Pavarotti dying. I'm sure some more interesting stuff has probably happened this year but I just can't think of any. Was too consumed with being pregnant and then having a newborn to notice what the rest of the world was doing.

Any suggestions?

The All Blacks won the tri-nations!

Bad flooding in England.

Ummm just found some things on some website for you....

Natascha, who had been held captive for eight years, aroused much media interest after her escape. She asked to be given time to tell her own story.  Ahead of the publication of his memoirs, Grass revealed that he had served in the Waffen SS in his teens, while Zidane has never specified the "insult" that prompted the attack.

Mr Cheney eventually admitted pulling the trigger, after coming under fire for the delay in commenting. His friend Harry Whittington generously said he was sorry for the trouble that Mr Cheney had been put through.

Hungary's Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurcsany was forced to admit that his party had lied to the public to win April's general election, after a tape recording of a political meeting was leaked to the media.

Hope this helps.....

Madeleine McCann going missing and the mystery of what happened to her (I feel another JonBenet Ramsay coming on )

Dame Anita Roddick who started The Body Shop died today or yesterday from a brain haemorrage

A little OT but I kept the Herald from the day Maya was born and on the front cover was NZ losing the America's Cup and a guy being mauled to death by a tiger at the Auckland Zoo. Gee, what a great day to be born!

The Vector Arena opening up - LOTS of music artists coming to play there now.

I was thinking of the America's Cup too, but someone's already said that.

The flooding up North.

Hahah - the only reason I know this is that for some reason the day that he died, my DH started calling the "bump" Boris....and its stuck...and is now the official nickname of the baby!!
