I can't get over how quickly little ones grow up once they turn 1! Gabrielle is getting so independent...she now happily goes and spends several hours per week with her grandparents and yesterday when they visited she ran up to them for a cuddle! And today she went to Creche (called Little Cherubs) at church for the first time. She was so happy playing with the other kids soI left her there....she had a wonderful time! Didn't need me at all.
I have been waiting for the day where she is easy going enough to do things like this and yet now it has happened I feel a huge sense of loss! Maybe it is just 'cause AF is on the way but I felt a bit emotional when I left her at creche...does that feeling happen lots as they get older? Kinda like a sense of loss...like you are losing a little part of yourself with each step they take towards independence? It's a happy feeling and yet a sad one at the same time

wait til you get to the feeling of
"OMG i forgot I have a child and have to double back to get to daycare to pick her up!!!"
Glad to hear Gabrielle is branching out and pleased you are too...it will benefit you both.....and shes obviously "running" now - awesome!

It is sad ay?
Im finding it harder for Cam making his milestones as he is my last baby for the next few years at least!! I dont want him to grow up!!
But it is good that she can be independant as well.

Yea it's a happy-sad thing. The last heart wrencher for me was when Hannah went out (to a fair) with a friend's family for the day. I had to keep myself busy at home LOL!

Yay Elle! But at the same time! I took a pic of my two standing up in Kellz bath a couple of nights ago and they look so grown up, I want my little babies back!
