I've had enough of washing dishes by hand! When we put our kitchen in last year we couldn't afford a dihswasher, so just left a hole for where one would go. So now we've saved up the $$$ but can't decided what to get...
We are on tank water (and only have one tank) so need something fairly water economical so were looking at the dish drawers cause then we wouldn't have to do a full load if we didn't have enough dishes, but they're about $1600 (for double dish drawer) and the other regular dishwasher we were looking at is $999 but uses heaps more water 
What would you do??? -------------  My beautiful 2 girls...nearly 4 and 13 months

I don't know much about drawers - have seen them but not looked into economy etc. Would they use much the same amount in water in 2 loads (each drawer), as an AIO model would use in 1 load? You can easily just put through a load a day - or however many dishes you use - with an AIO. ------------- |

I only run the dishwasher when it is full. We have (well kind of). We've ordered it and it's ready to be dropped off, but DH hasn't got the ground area ready for it yet...I'm not holding my breath either! ------------- My beautiful 2 girls...nearly 4 and 13 months

Well I'd be inclined to go for as economic AIO as you can get then, since it's by far cheaper and you'll have the other tank installed "someday" - but then, I'm a city chick ------------- |

We were on tank water at our last house and just had the standard F&P dishwasher. It had an Eco wash function which used heaps less water and we never had any problems with running out of water with it. ------------- http://lilypie.com">

when we were on tank water we had a simpson. And although it had a eco wash and didnt use much water it was a terrible dishwasher. Sucked big time and was really noisy it was also ment to be their top of the line silent one.

We have a normal dishwasher and just got some extra plates so that we can wait until it's full to do them and not run out of plates in the process.
Ours is a lil old and has an economical option |
