I'm writing a feature on colic for the OHbaby! November newsletter, and I'd love to hear your stories. How did you figure out that your baby was suffering from colic? How old were they when it started, and how old were they when it stopped? What remedies did you use for it? What worked and what didn't? Most important of all, how did you, the parents, feel throughout the whole ordeal? Send me a PM or email me at mailto:katherine@ohbaby.co.nz - katherine@ohbaby.co.nz and you'll go in the draw to win a gorgeous prize pack of five children's books! :)

Just emailed you Katherine

It's good to see people are acknowledging colic as a serious problem for both babies and their parents who really suffer during this time
Some of the health books I read said colic was an old wives tale Some wives tale that was between 10pma nd 2am every single night

Thanks for that feedback and thanks for sharing your story -- I'll be in touch once I have compiled everything! I think there's a lot of confusion about colic, and I'm hoping to provide some good information about trying to diagnose it and what can be done about it, as so many parents muddle through miserably without having any idea what they're dealing with or what they can try. I don't think there are any "cures" for colic, but hopefully I can present a clearer picture of what's going on! :)

Last call for colic stories -- if you could send your stories to me by Monday at the latest, that would be brilliant! I'll draw the children's book prize pack winner then and post it in this thread. Thanks to everyone who has shared their experience so far -- it looks like the article will be very interesting, so stay tuned for November's newsletter!

Thanks, miss, I will go check! Don't worry about length -- I will use parts from everyone's stories for the article, so the longer, the better as there will be more for me to choose from! :)
