Ok, what is the difference between an insert and a booster?
I only have inserts mostly microfibre and some hemp, it is really difficult to fill his nappy at night. Two HC insert did work but now he pees through those so I have been stuffing a hemp in as well but it is really hard to get the elastic to fit around his legs because of the bulk (he is in a one size pocket) would I be better of using a booster? He peed through a fitted today, whilst in his sling, and my jumper absorbed the leak  -------------

From what I understand an insert 3 layers a booster 2. ------------- I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived! |

Probably not much point then, need more absorbency not less.
Another question, is there anything I can put in a fitted to boost those? Would need to be something that wicks the moisture away quickly I suppose. Bloody nappies just when I think I've got it sussed he manages to start peeing even more!!!!!!   -------------

I should have read all of your post before answering  I only ever used the boosters when she was in her small FBs and when I was changing her every 2 hours, they do nada now!
I thought with one size nappies that you could stuff them with enough to do an infant and a toddler? So you should be able to get enough in there for him now

I could stuff more in the nappy, the problem is that it gets so bulky that the elastic ends up not being able to touch his legs (if that makes any sense what so ever). It is fine with 2 large HC but with the hemp in as well it is really pushing it. I'm hoping that when he stops needing as many feeds at night he will stop peeing so much at night, but that might just be wishful thinking. -------------

my ds night nappy is so fill that the elastic doesn't touch his legs either but we are yet to have a leak so give it a go, you might find that it absorbs quickly enough not to leak...fingers crossed ------------- http://tickers.families.com">

snazzipants do some great boosters that would be helpful with your fitteds.
and maybe you could try one HC microfibre insert and the hemp. some people have better luck with combinations. |

| I find the same thing with 2HC + hemp, so I went with 1HC, 1 peapod one and then more hemp inserts and it doesn't do that anymore because hemp is far trimmer |

| We use a flat micofibre/hemp trifold insert(ecobubs) with a HC insert at night,...and that lasts my almost 1 year old 12 hrs at night, with no problems! The elestic is never touching her legs at night like it does in the day, but works fine. |

 Hi there, We have a little girl. A bit different to boys I know...! However we use traditional square cloth nappies through the day with a overnap, no problems with leaks. At night we use a eco friendly nappy - made in Germany (put in the garden or compost after) Called 'Moltex' available from Nappies for Less. Is fantasic works well for us.
Best of all it is very inexpensive system, and the cloth nappy squares are so easy to wash and dry. We have been using this system since my daughter was 6weeks old, now 7mths.
