Hi teri, I'm not a mum yet, still in the planning stages. but i do live in Feilding. I think i'm the only other Feilding OHBaby member.
The Palmy mums meet up regularly, and they are a nice friendly bunch.
I've lived here for 12 months and don't know many people either.

Hi Terijoy.... WELCOME to OhBaby!  I'm in Palmy so not so far away.  Like Fleur said, the Palmy mums get together every now and then - if there's a catch-up happening it'll be mentioned in it's own thread under the 'mums meet up' section.  I don't think the next one is planned, but there was talk of doing them regularly so maybe I'd best haul my butt into there and find out!).  Newcomers are always welcome at them, by the way - so don't hesitate in coming along!

I think cause of the big one in October nothing has been organised, but i was thyinking myabe it would be nice to try and organise a barbeque at memorial park for a lunch one sunday afternoon - i specifially thought memorial park because the equipment is quite pre-school friendly - and because Grandad showed jake the joys of the flying fox and now he always wants to have a go (he rides on it with an adult) - and I'm a bit wussy. That and he fell off the fireman's pole on one of the big fort things.

so anyway, to cut a long story short, how about a sunday in november - hubbys can come (i was thinking they can look after the kidlets - while we sit and chat)

that sounds kewl cos memorial park isn't so crazy crowded most of the time - we took the girls there the other day and they loved it.

BTW welcome Terijoy! am sure you'll find heaps of people here to meet and chat with.

Terijoy there is a young (under 30s) mums group in Feilding that meets up at the library.

Lizz - you could make it a end of year thing at memorial park.

For those with older kidlets the fireworks is on 31 October at Manfield. I'm having a few drinks/nibbles at my house before hand if you want to come.
I live 10 mins down the road.
