born at 9:04pm on the 1st of October.
Would have had this up earlier but I was admitted to waikato with mastitis and red raw nipples. . .
labour totalled 8 hours and 49 minutes. Midwife was extremely surprised at the early intensity of labour. The doctor denied me an epidural even though I was induced and she was posterior. . . Feeding time

**Thanks AnnC - Yup baby brain and sleep deprivation

Horribly!! lol. Why does everyone make this job look easy?! She fed straight for the first two days and nights (no one told me about cluster feeding) and then I got the third day blues. Was taken to Waikato on Monday night and have mastitis and the worst craked raw nipples they have seen . . Have to express from one side because it's so bad! Lol but all is coming right now

oooooh yes, cluster feeding.. Ayja did that for the 1st 6 days. whoever says babies sleep for the first 24 hours after birth never met ayja. Hope things are coming ok now.

can i say, no one ever means to make it look easy, most of us just manage to fudge our way through the day hoping we're doing it right. maybe it looks easy for those of us that have learnt to fudge well.

I know dont ya hate that? lol. Aww, hey, least you lasted longer than me. I only breastfed for a week lol. After that it was just too painful for me! And i didnt even have mastitis!!!

Im glad its starting to go alright for you though.
Ahh yes the blues. I got that for about 3 days and would cry over nothing lol. Fun isnt it? Hehehe.
