Turn the shower on really hot and shut the door so the room steams up and then take her in there for a few minutes - should help her a bit.

Vicks Vapour Rub is really good. If you don't want to put it on her chest put it on your breast just before each feed.

Vicks actually do a product called Baby Balsam, which has worked well for us in the past, especially at night. I think some supermarkets stock it, otherwise you can get it from a chemists.

The other thing you can do that worked for us when Sam was really little is to put a couple of drops of cooled boiled water into each nostril with a dropper. This will make her sneeze which clears the sinuses. It did wonders for Sam when she had a cold recently

We got this saline stuff from the chemist. Is called "fess little noses". Chemist told DH that you can't use vicks etc till they are a bit older. Someone at my coffee group said that you can squirt breastmilk up their nose to clear it as well (if your aim is good enough)

There is also something called Karvol(sp?) that we use with xanda when he has a stuffy nose. It comes in capsules and I cut them open and squeeze it on to a hanky and then put it under the sheet on his bed near his pillow and it helps them breath easier at night. And also like someone else said, the Baby Basalm by Vicks is good.

Everyone has great suggestions, and mind aren't much different, but thought I'd add my 2 cents worth ...

Raise her mattress a wee bit - pop a small towel under it.

Use any of the above listed things, or some eucalyptus on her sheet or a hanky placed by her head

Naturopharm Coldmed is great - not sure for such a young baby though .. might pay to check

Pop a bowl of steaming water with eucalyptus (you can also add tea tree, lavender and lemon) in her room by the head of her bed, or under the bed if you think you'll kick it over

You can't put baby balsam on her body until she is 3mos, so put it on your breasts so she inhales it when she feeds/cuddles, and put some on a hanky and tuck in between the head of the cot/bassinette and the matress. Shower steam is a great idea too.

i use boiled water and a eye dropper and put 2drops in each nostril it really seems to work, and i sit him in his bouncer in the bathroom while im in the shower, the noise of the wather puts him to sleep and the steam unclogs his nose :)
