First one on a happy note. McKayla use to stick her feet through the net of the climbing frames. And she finally got it right yesterday at playcentre and is now able to climb the rope stuff ect.

On a not so happy note and cant even really say it is a milestone as such.

She started complaining about her nappy so tried to change her but she freaked out in the changing room. We eventually changed her on the grass but she was still clingy and teary eyes. So off course it is close to naptime and they all told me with clean up just take care of her. Well we got home and she keeps on crying and saying ouchie and taking her nappy off. So we climbed in a bath to see if perhaps any sandpit sand got in there and is irritating her. She just starts crying more after climbing out but I cant see anything wrong there. She kept on saying ouchie ouchie and wont tolerate a nappy on. So put fissan paste on but she just screamed more.

Call dr's. CAn only see me in 3 hours. Half an hour later she started puking her guts out. Call them again and then I realised but her nappy was totally dry when I changed it and she still hasnt made a wee. So since 8 this morning nothing. They told me they can only see me in a hour as there is no drs in right now but she feels strongly we must take McKayla to A&E.

So yeah that is our milestone. I was full off puke before I called so just changed into one of Grants t-shirts that was nearby. As I put her in the car I realise I dont have a bra on but there is no way I am taking a screaming child out of the carseat again. Spent the whole afternoon there trying to get a freaking urine monster and more puking all over me as soon as we give her something to drink.

Eventually she told us we can go home and just to bring the sample in but if anything change bring her back and we might have to be admitted to hospital.

All I can say in this house there is about 6 loads of clothes full of puke. Our whole bed needs to get changed. I even ran out of sheets last night and just put a towel on the sheets for her to lie on everytime we didnt catch the puke. But she is at least smiling a bit today and looks like she wants to eat something. And NO PUKING SINCE about 5 this morning.

All I can say Grant had an interesting birthday yesterday.

Sounds like Rotavirus or even just gastroenteritis.

That is what they think it is at the moment. Rotavirus was at playcentre last week but just treating it as gastroenteritis at the moment.

Still no puking again yay. Although she doesnt want to eat anything except drink water, dehydrate solution and breastmilk.

When Charlotte had it a few weeks ago, she wasn't hungry either. She drank some milk and juice and I did offer food but she turned it down. I think she lost a bit of weight with it but seemed happy enough in between the episodes of puking (which lasted through the night).

I have to say too that it is REALLY catchy, I ended up as sick as a dog with it as did Mum, Dad, my brother, his girlfriend and her brother and our next door neighbour. Be prepared - its just awful.
