Hi All...
Just been using my new nappies and having lots of fun. Just wondering though, with my medium Baby Harmony Nappy it seems quite small and doesnt seem like it will fit him much longer... he only has 1 snap left either side (I dont know if this is normal or not?!) He is only just over 7kgs so weight shouldnt be a problem. But yeah, they just seem small. Or am I alone with this?!
Hope you are all having a good weekend!
Emma xx

Yeah I find the sizing a little small, in the legs anyway. Daniel is on the tightest on the tum but the biggest on the legs.. and thats the only medium nappy that he has that has to be on that far out.

Astin is 8kgs and cant fit the medium baby harmony

charli is still in baby harmony med naps on the tightest setting in the tum and the second tighest on the legs. she's on the same snaps in her fuzzi and weighs about 10kg....what colour fleece did you get? some of meredith's fleece's are abit thicker, which makes them fit differently

Hi Amber...
No I dont think we DH would be realted to your MIL... his family are from the UK and dont have many family at all. And you would be glad your MIL isnt related to DH's family... htey are the biggest nut jobs ever! I swear I have the worst MIL...
How come you moved to Kawerau? I have only been there twice, we got our cat from there :) used to be my baby, but well Ollie took over that title! How long did you live in Tauranga for?
Wow, I cant believe Astin cant fit the Baby Harmony Med... Hmmm... I hope my Medium nappies last longer than the next few weeks! Dont grow Ollie!! he hee hee

I have a rose/white fleece baby harmoney nappy in medium and it is definitely smaller than most of our other medium nappies in other brands (mostly Fuzzibunz but some other NZ made nappies as well). I thought DD would grow out of it really soon too, but at 10kg she still fits it (just), although we have a velcro nap fastener so that might make a difference. I think I've heard many people find their sizing to be smaller than other nappies. Still a good nappy though!

last night i put charli in one of jack's large baby harmony naps and it's way to big for her. she fits a large tweedle without probs though.....

i have an older style baby harmony without the rolled out fleece and that seems to be a smaller fit though

hahaha Emma i had to laugh when i was reading your reply! - they must be related!!! because my MILs family are a little on the weird side too!! lol (and i play that down too when i say "a little"!).

We moved BACK to Kawerau as this is where DH and i grew up and we wanted our boys (one boy at that stage!) to grow up with faimly.
We were in Tauranga for 5 years and absolutely loved it but we needed a change. We lived in Bethlehem. What area are you in?

hehe im sure Ollie will fit his naps for a bit longer than Astin hes a mister thunder thighs!!! hes already on the 2nd to last snaps on his honeychild nappies!! (just moved out a snap!)

We live in Otumoetai... just across from the High School. Bethlehem is a nice area...

Yeah I know what you mean about wanting your kids to grow up by family... DH and I are so tempted to move to Aus (have a lot of friends over there) but well living near my mum here in Tga wins that battle. And she wouldnt move there.

Im sure Ollie will fit his nappies for a bit longer... I hope...!

Are you ever back in Tauranga much?

he hee hee... I would have given anything to change from Otumoetai Plunket at the beginning as they were hopless for me and only came to see me for the first time at 9 weeks after I wouldnt stop ringing them! (I am a 1st time mum and was over stressed that something was wrong!) They are pretty good to me now though :) Who is your nurse there? Obviously you ave a great one!

Would be great to catch up... we are free most of the time, although next week we are on holiday :) Let me know when you have time to catch up when you are over.

oh bugger!! thats no good that they were hopeless at the beginning!! Iv had the same nurse for 4 years now (well almost! lol) her names Viv although when i was in there last i had a different one cos Viv was away and i was not impressed with her at all!! she even gave me a hard time about not fully breastfeeding Astin!!!!!

Well tommorow is now going to be a rush trip because DH wants to come for a drive! but he has to be home by 4pm.
We will be over sometime in the next few weeks to buy Astin a new carseat from babycity (i have fallen in love with a particular one there! lol), Il give you a PM when we know what day to see if your free ....lucky you to be going on holiday!! i would give an arm and a leg right now to have a holiday from my grumpy boys!! (probably shouldnt have *said*/typed that out loud!!)

Ah I have heard Viv is great... my mum is a nanny and her kids travel a fair distance to go to her too. I wonder if you got my plunket nurse the other time when you werent impressed? Sounds likely! he hee hee

Baby City is great here... I love the sales assistants there! They have known me since ollie was barely even concieved! (was a bit obsessed with baby stuff!)

Definately next time you come over you we have to catch up... your boys sound too cute!

Keep in touch!
Emma and Ollie xx
