Ascot is $160.00 for the 4D package then there is Auckland X Ray Services $115.00 (I think) .. and then there was one other I cant remember off the top of my head.

This was done at Ascot ... Isabelle @ 28 weeks and 4 Days

I had this place recommended to me but I never got round to going. It looks like they charge $110.

DH had organised a day off work and everything ... I was not impressed!

thanks girls for the info.

i booked in with Auckland X Ray Services as it was only $110

but unfortunately i did that before i read your post lilfattty :(
i would probably be really mad if they do that to me!
infact if they do that - i will give them a big piece of my mind! (me being hormonal is a bonus too!)

P.S> beautiful and clear pic of Isabelle! what a doll!

Yeah I was just about in tears at the time (hormones) thats when I looked into all the other places I could get a 4D scan done and found the other two and Ascot must have been the cheaper of the two as they were the ones I went with.

Saracular - Other people I know have had no issues with Auckland X Ray Services though, so I may have been a one off mishap

Hey I went to Auckland X ray Service and they were fantastic!  And if you haven't had your 20 week anatomy scan and are a NZ resident then it is only $30!  You get some photos and a DVD....such a bargain!

I got mine done at Auckland Xray Service and they were really good with us too.  Ours were done at 21 weeks with MW referal only $30.00 and without a referal $115.00...  The lady we had kept going until we got a shot WE were happy with.

well i went and got it done at xray services.
it was horrible...
the lady couldnt see anything - when she finally managed to get one pic (not very clear) she decided it was all she could do. it didny even last for ten mins (most time was spent trying to get a clear look) she was in such a hurry she said she couldnt show me any more as shes running late and there are other people waiting....
and to top it off they charged me the full $118
i couldnt argue at the reception as there were so many ppl there and everyone is busy with somebody. and im not the type that throws fits in public :(
all in all... from that one photo that i got, it was amazing to see my baby - does anybody else thinks he looks like those cute african babies with the huge lips lol?

Bless I thought Isabelle (my baby) looked Aboriginal (which my DH isnt happy about as he is a brit!) hehehehehe

I think maybe you should ring them ... to discuss the overcharge....I definately would!  I would also complain about the service you received.
