I'm just wondering if anybody knows of a good way to clean baking trays that have baked on grease/oil stuck to them. I don't want to use a scourer on it in case it takes off some of the enamel or whatever the coating is and handwashing and the dishwasher just don't do anything.
Any ideas would be a help.

Jif. You'll want to rinse well afterwards but it works. Or, if you prefer natural products, go for baking soda. Oven cleaner also works.

Dishwasher powder, left on to soak apparently works well. I would try baking soda tho, seems to work miracles on anything!

Oven cleaner works very well I've found. And that way you'd have to get DH to do it oh what a shame.

Our one has some kind of coating over it that looks like the inside of the oven so hopefully the oven cleaner will work on it. Oh, I hadn't even thought of the stainless steel trays - we have easy-off bam too so I'll give that a go on them.
I must be going through a little nesting period. I have arranged some of the baby's room (even cleaned the walls) and washed all the baby's clothes in the last few days. And I've been looking at those trays for months now and haven't bothered doing anything about them. Well, at least this way all those old chores get done
