Has this ever happened to you? Today I wiped after a wee and the loo paper caught something slightly protruding from the vjay I'm concerned about my insides already and it's a bit bloated in there, but this really freaked me out!!!

Oh dear god woman you are disfigured......... lol Sorry just joking. Things definitely do change down there and esp after having kids let alone three. It could be gravity just doing its thing and everything is tending to go south. If concerned you are growing new body parts go and get your practice nurse of GP to have a check. I have seen alot of what you have described and its completely normal.

Some peoples hang lower than others but after having kids make their way out of there things can tend to hang that much lower and people discover things they never knew they had!

BTW I dont think she is taking about a prolaspe, there is no mistaking one of those

I have googled prolapse BS cause I wondered about that too. I already checked with DH and he reckoned it wasn't unusual, but maybe it's cause I was lying on my back for that but sitting upright (on the loo) when I felt it. I have never been able to reach my cervix before, ever. I'll get the doc to check it tomorrow.

You think its your cervix Omg no way girl you wouldnt be able to hide that if lying down. I dont think it will be that luvvy. SOmetimes googling can get things blown right out of proportion.

Just get it checked when at GP tomorrow as Becks said. DOnt stress yourself too much you could give yourself an ulcer

well Kels, it's all these 'folds of skin'-feeling that has a centre that feels like (sorry!) an anus. I really think it is, there's nothing else in there!!

LOL Ginger, I have read more of your cervix-checking stories than checked my own

A cervix to the touch is like the tip of your nose as in the firmness of it (and no I dont make a habit of touching cervixs for fun I held a sexual health clinic in my pass job) Also cervix arent folds of skin but rather like the head of a penis. One whole skin thing with a small closed to the eye hole in the center. Oh gosh hard to explain but I hope you get what I mean

Squat over a mirror and see if it is what a described. Also see if you can insert a finger into Vjay while squatting this should give you an idea if the protrudding skin is an organ that has fallen down of just stretched labia minora that is now sitting around the base of the external vulva

oh dear Kels - you and I dont have anything better to do tonight huh???

Posted By: busymum

It was skin not cervix that was protruding when I wiped (has gone back up since I poked around earlier) but the cervix is quite low. I can feel it easily whether I lie down or sit up and I have never reached it before.

TBH I'm not sure how I feel about DH having a second opinion BS, I'm a bit nervous!

And if Scott is still reading, then hopefully he's not going green haha

Okay this thread has just gone absolutely icky

LOL

Alright so I squatted and so half of you might wanna leave here

Cervix is fine. Has risen slightly but is probably only up an inch from the entrance. I dunno, is it supposed to get that low just during cycles? Cause I know it goes up and down and whatever. So anyway, can't see that from the outside at all.

The folds of skin bit is "in front". Gosh this is so hard to describe. They seem like they would usually sit just up and inside. Yep in the squat position they seem to pretty much cover the entrance and is what was wiped with the loo paper. So I dunno what that is and if it's ok?

And now I feel queasy, no more poking around tonight!

Ok sounds fine Teresa honestly just the normal skin folds. If still worried get them checked by GP but in all seriousness your VJay sounds normal

Seems all is fine, I guess I just freaked out with everything else going on and the fact that I usually don't poke around there except for tampons (and 38 weeks pg )

As for the doc though, that was a bit frustrating cause she couldn't find any reason for the cramps and pains I've been getting. Although she did agree that 6 cycles of 5-7 day pains pre-Ov didn't just seem like "settling down after baby". She's going to refer me for an ultrasound but doesn't know how long the wait will be - she doesn't think it's urgent (nurofen as required in the meantime) so I'll be on public waiting list unless I give up and decide to fork out the $$. (No med insurance.)

And for Scott's info, I'm nearly 25

Yeah sooooo 100 years ago that was well and truely over the hill you had had a good life and should consider getting the pine box made and decide which tree you wanted to be placed under.......

Or maybe you should just stop playing with it and it'll go away!!!!!!!!!!

I'm bored hense the responces
