So you all know how I've debated changing the shift type that I work at the moment? Well the oppotunity has come up at work for Graveyard people on a 3 month trail.

Seriously considering going for it as at least it would be a trail and not a permanent committment at this stage.

(would also be nice not to have to take so much domestic leave!! had to take another half day today to take Maddie to the doctor for a really bad nappy rash )

What would happen at the end of the 3 month trial? would you be able to go back to your old shift if you don't like it?

That trail might give you some insight as too how and if it would work for you

That is something I am going to check out...I'd want to know that the 3 month trial works both ways and that I can move back if I don't like it!

When you say graveyard, what hours would it be? Al does 10.00pm to 6.30am and that shift actually means we get more time together. You just have to establish a good sleeping pattern for yourself and I *really* reccommed (sp?) investing in some black-out curtains to help

Graveyard starts between 7.30-8.30pm and is a 10 hour shift.

And yes, black out curtains and ear plugs would be high on the list of things to buy!
