With Ben I got a load of avent bottles in and he would never take them, so he ended up at 9 mths on a cup after much stress...!

So with this bubba I am going to give a bottle a day so it will take one ( she hopes)

Does anyone use the Tommee tippee closer to nature ones, with the wide necks, I thought I bought one but its an anti colic one and its not wide necked so I guess will not take the other teats..?

Anyone used these with success?

Thanks

yip we use these with Astin and they are great!!! apart from sometimes they leak if the lid isnt done up the right way! (fussy lid!!). We have the big ones and the small ones. We bought the small to start off with because they are only needed for top ups so i didnt need the bigs ones but now he is older and needing more we have the bigger ones we also have the cute little formula pottles that slot inside the bottle

Astin will only take these bottles and the avent wide teat bottles.

I use them with Alex and they're great. I find them heaps better than Avent. The only thing is that they do leak if they're not done up the right way, Amber said, and also the air intake valves are a bit sticky on new teats - you just have to make sure they're open before you do up the bottle and there are no problems.

I use one of those compartment containers for taking formula out and about, it was about $8 from the supermarket and does the trick perfectly.

I've never used them, we use Avent, but a friend that used them found that the fastest flow teats available for them weren't fast enough once her girl got to about 6 months and she had to attack the teats with needles to make the holes bigger.

wev just recently tried going up to the 3month size teats and they were way too fast for Astin so we went back to the NB

Gosh, Alex is already on the 6m+ teats. He is on a partially thickened formula, but it's about 2/3 normal formula now. He gets so angry if I try and put a slower teat on!

Kalyx loves them!! Mind you he has only ever used this type of bottle. We also have leak issues with the lids & havent graduated to the #2 teats yet, just makes more leaks i think
