I had the same problem and think maybe i still do. I have changed my washing powder to persil.. i have a front loader and bought the persil aloe vera not realizing it was for top loader.. i couldnt figure out for ages why the machine kept flooding the room with bubbles.. lol. But persil has made them smell a little nicer

What washing powder are you using? There's only really a few washing powders that are good to use for nappies (ecostore, next generation and persil are the best).

Get some dettol in wash liquid and add that to the next couple of washes and it should get rid of the smell.

Hot wash... or strip. That's how I fix mine.

Also apparently boiling them.

Or try tea tree oil

Scrubbing them with dishwashing liquid then a good hot wash and dry in the sun. Ever since I started using the Dettol in wash stuff, I have had no problems with smells at all.
