Ive got myself into a bit of a predicament. Where I joined a community organisation a wee while ago, & on my first day of involvement i was offered a place on a course, which the organisation paid for. After attending a few weeks i decided it wasn't my thing & didn't believe in some of the practices etc. So i gave it up. Yesterday i got a call from them basically saying that i still need to keep attending as they had paid for the course etc. And i kinda feel obliged IYKWIM. But i don't want to. Do i have to? Help, how can i get out of it- ever so nicely.
Suggestions, advice greatly appreciated
TIA

is it playcentre? cause if it is, the courses help for funding and stuff - so even if you stayed and did the course, then left, it wouldn't help them any. I also know people who did this - as in the playcentre paid for the course and then they decided not to come and it was no big deal at all.

Well to be honest if you have committed to a course that they have paid for I can understand why they would expect you to attend!
Can you talk to them about your reasons for wanting to pull out?

if you arent wanting your money back i cant see why you would keep attending if you dont want to...Ummmm likee and WW!!! LOL
if it is a matter of WINZ or someone not subsidising a future one then you might need to look into it.
if is something that someone requires you to do...then possibly you should?
ok hard to go on without knowing what it is really....
