Just a quick one, when is the best age to take bub swimming??
She loves the bath and we have taken her to the beach and she loved the water. |

Most pools say 6 months cos they get too cold otherwise. Although I did find one pool in christchurch that said 3 months cos the baby pool was really warm, it is too far for us to travel though so we are waiting till he is a little older. (I think the pool was in addington).
I know quite a few people that have taken them younger than 6 months they just make sure they are not in the pool for too long. -------------

As cuppatea said some pools will except babies at 3 months, although it is recommended you wait till 5-6 months as they can't control their own body temperatures before that. We enrolled Sam at 5 months, more because that meant she had all her immunisations.
I would definitley recommend swimming lessons though, Samantha just loves hers  ------------- http://lilypie.com">

. We only stay in for 20 mins max as well...after that she starts to get a bit tired (and hungry).
