When this site upgraded ages ago I had to get a new membership because my old one wouldn't work. I couldn't sign up again using my email so I used my sisters and she just told me that shes been getting an email every time somebody posts on here (or maybe replies to me). I just checked my profile and I don't have the option to get emails sent clicked and i don't tick the boxes under this box so how can I stop it.
Also would I be able to get my email changed to my email? I have tried and it won't let me because of my old name using my email. Thanks |

At the bottom of each topic you have posted on you need to click "un-watch this topic for replies"
Edited to add that it below the reply box -------------

It only says watch this topic for replies?
I might have to sort it out next time i'm at mums and can have my sister there to tell me what threads shes getting. |

Once you post on a thread it automatically watches it...or at least thats what my one does. -------------

Under profile, down the bottom under 'forum preferences' there is 'yes/no' questions one is
notify me when there is a reply to a post (or something like that. Need to select no ------------- Kerryn, Mum to Ashlyn(29/3/04), Anastasia(1/11/05) & Abigail (24/02/09) |

In your profile you'll see the following option:
Notify me of replies to posts Sends an email when someone replies to a topic you have posted in. This can be changed whenever you post. change that to 'No' and by default emails won't be sent |
