Its that time of the year to start thinking about Christmas Day food.  This is the first Christmas that I am hosting and I am a little unsure on what to cook ! I have ordered a ham so consider it a good start, what have others got planned?

we will have a rolled boned pork, glazed and cooked on the rotissere on our bbq, plus probably ham and roast chicken. Baby peas, carrots and spuds all from our garden, and some green salad. Pudding, custard, xmas pud, trifle, strawberries, fresh fruit salad, cream, afterdinner mints etc. YUM! Can't wait, and yers, there is plenty so I welcome waifs and strays with open arms, we eat left overs for days...

We'll have turkey and ham, mashed potatoes, bread stuffing, green beans, corn, cranberry sauce, bread rolls, green salad, pumpkin pie, pecan pie, Christmas pudding... and lots and lots of wine! :) For us Christmas is pretty much a redux of Thanksgiving dinner.

Hehe Katherine. Sounds just like what we are having on Boxing day! Actually is is exactly expect that my Gran does a meat stuffing.

Christmas day is with my husbands family and apparently this year will be a BBQ.    I am just glad my family is doing the traditional Canadian thing cause I sooo missed the ham last year when I was pregnant!!

We'll do one at our house starting with our special eggs and bubbly or sparkling grape juice for breakfast and then mid afternoon beer can chicken and beef on the rotisserie along with salads and rolls. I was bought up in Brisbane and love BBQ christmases.
We'll have one at DH's parents too this year which will be ham, maybe beer can chicken again or beef and roasted vegies.

I think we are all alone this Christmas, breakfast will be crossiants with bacon/ham and camembert. Lunch no idea and dinner the same. Most likely salad and chicken since there will only be M and I eating it! Dessert, well what ever the heck I feel like!
