Wooooo! So I finally got round to making one!

I was too impatient so just used velcro instead of pestering someone for use of their snap press. And the sewing is crap but ah well.

Shoosh.

Yes.

Gifts.

And it's not the DIY kit, though I can't say that'd be much different. I have been accumulating nappy fabrics for a while and finally had all the pieces and the motivation yesterday. Just used the Wee Weka pattern off the DIY page on TNN with the photo instructions as well. It was fine... a bit of a bitch at times to sew but that's because I'm a retard more than anything! The next one will be so much easier and quicker.

Oh and timewise... I did that while Hannah slept but stuffed around on the internet for ages first. So it took maybe 1.5 hours? (with heaps of mistakes and swearing.)

i think it looks fab and anyone would be very pleased to get such a great gift from you... a job well done!

hehe next thing tho you will be wanting your own snap press!!!

Thanks Deb. (And there will be MANY years of practice so I'd better be a pro by the time I'm silly enough to have another kid )

I think I might have to find someone's press to borrow... otherwise I'm in real trouble!

You're very clever, can't sew to save myself.

As for the gift thing, good luck with that.

I got one of Stacey's nappies for a gift, but they're too cute and am going to keep it for when we have our own baby, which is still very much in the planning stages, and might not suit pink.
