the last day or 2 Megan has only been feeding for about 5-10 minutes. She is having plenty of wet nappies about 5

When Sam was around 6 weeks she started feeding for around 5 minutes max. She always got plenty though.

When Ella was that age she would take about 30- 45 mins for a feed (man, I don't miss how long those middle of the night feeds would take). Now she feeds 5 mins per side. ------------- Mum to Ella (5) and Tom (2) |

Kate is a monster feeder and does a full feed in 4 mins absolute max. Shes done that since she was about 3 days old! ------------- Jen, Charlotte 7 & Kate 3

My second baby feed very fast, about 5 mins per side.
As long as she has wet nappies I wouldn't worry. Like the others sounds like you might have a excellent let down reflex. When she starts to get a little bigger and a little hungrier you might find that she increases the amount of time on the breast to stimulate more milk production. ------------- http://lilypie.com">

When Hayley was still so small she also only feed for about 5mins on the one side and 2-3min on the other side and the weight she put on was correct for her age...
i think that as long as the pick up what they are suppose to it doen't matter how long they feed... ------------- http://lilypie.com">
