Eariler this week we had our road resefaced again. The company that did it came along on Wednesday and sweeped the excess stones to the side of the road in the gutter. DH today was out putting the bin and recycling out when he had a brain wave.

He is now out there taking the stones from the side of the road and putting them in the holes we have in our driveway.

Very Checky.

Good on him - Very inventive I say.
They'll just end up in other people's tyres and chipping their paint otherwise.

Way to go DH!

Best they're off the road - we had a main highway 'swept' earlier this year, anyway, we were driving down the road and a car flicked this massive stone up at us that split our whole windscreen in half. We made transit pay the $150 excess that we have

My driveway is looking so much better now, he has decided to cover the whole driveway with them as there is so much and that was just from outside our place. So now he is getting stones from the places around us.
