FIL gave us a couple of bottles of cows milk that are frozen. I didn't even know you could freeze cows milk!
So what I'd like to know is:
How long can it stay frozen for?
How long is it good for after it is defrosted?
TIA

I freeze milk all the time, save having to go out for milk plus we live out of town at the mo, not sure on how long sometimes mine is in the freezer for up to a month we go through milk quite quick but I would say it would keep for well over the 2 weeks like it usually is when you first by it..........

Yeah we freeze milk too. The only thing i find is it tastes a little waterier (sp? dont even know if thats a word) after its defrosted, like trim milk

I think it lasts a month in a freezer compartment and 3 months in a seperate freezer. I would have thought that it last a week so like fresh milk once it is defrosted. You'll soon know if its gone bad

We freeze milk all the time, it defrosts fine overnight on the bench and lasts about a week in the fridge (I think - we go through it too fast for me to be sure). If we get to it within about 2 months of when we first froze it then there is no noticeable difference in taste, but if the bottle has been in the freezer a little longer sometimes the milk will separate as it defrosts.
