You need to wash them in baking soda and white vinegar. If you look on the Honeychild website, the instructions are there.

and hang them out in the sunshine. The UV will kill off the germies (germs = odour)

Hot wash with 1/2c vinegar.

Cold rinse with 1/2c baking soda.

Cold rinse with just water.

That's how I do it.

I still swear by giving them a good scrub with dishwashing liquid.

feety?!!?! lol

Caitlin's smell like "old jock straps" according to DH

I put them all through a rinse cycle today with dettol in wash and put them all, fleece side up, out in the sunshine.
They don't smell of anything now

They seriously do! Like someone has been wearing shoes with no socks all day on a 30 degree day!! DF is getting really annoyed with it.. wants to go back to sposies but im not! I have just put her in her nappy stacey made for th night with an extra insert because i accidently had her in a fuzzibun last night with a insert and booster and it leaked a little..

Ever since I started using that Dettol in wash stuff, I have had no smell issues at all. And the sun/fresh air really does help too.

BTW congrats on the pregnancy!! Just think how much money you will save on nappies second time round by reusing all Kylah's ones
