Sorry, I had to remove the thread because of defamation laws -- OHbaby! can get into big trouble for having something like that on our message boards, especially as it contained people's real names. However, it's all over Google, so I'm sure you can find it out there on the web! :)

in all honesty, i think posting something like that if it has happned to you personally is okay, BUT if it is only something passed on - well whose to say it hasn't bveen changed, or edited or whatever. - or even out of context. i don't know.

on that note, have just received an email for a second very rude one the said company has sent to a client. Am happy to PM if someone wants to read it. (if that is OK)

Go ahead with the PMs -- it's the public forums we need to keep defamation-free. :)

It was on the news tonight, and I have just read them and OMG that lady would never get my business after reading them and seeing them on the news.

the second email is just as bad!!!!!!!!!! While I can see dealing with emails is annoying, if she was that rude in emails, I'd be too scared to talk to her!!

Yeah, why on earth would you want to speak on the phone to someone who was so rude and abusive, at least on email there is a record of the communication.
Plus, if she hates dealing with emails so much, why use them to respond to customers - pretty sure she could pick up the phone just as easily as they could! She should take her email off the website if she doesn't want to use it.

I personally like using email because then i have everything in writing. And besides it seemed like a valid quiry if her website pricing was different to what she quoted, i would be questioning that too. And yeah if she didnt want to email she could have just picked up the phone herself or asked the lady to ring her rather than email
