well, we had a really nice day. my parents and I were up before 6, however, the kids werren't up til about 7, and then Jake was more impressed that I had the xmas tree lights working than the presents. I showed him the table and said that mummy and daddy had made it especially r him and he takes one look and says "no thank you mama". How bloody rude! I consol myslef that it looks boring as just a table. Opened his presents and was super super excited about Buzz (which now is permanently attached to his hip, and his wiggles t-shirt (which is going to be so much fun to wash - not) Taine has taken up residence ON the table playing with his trains.

Today we are off to the sales to buy a barbeque and some clothes

MErry xmas!!

Did you post a photo of the finished table? Sounds like a good day tho.

My day was pretty average - I was up spewing all night on christmas eve, so spent all yesterday feeling sorry for myself, dead tired, getting everyones lunch and dinner ready/dishes etc, and then not eating anything myself If I wasnt feeling so horrid it would have been a great day - Hannah had a blast and got very spoilt by everyone else,so that is the main thing.

We had our little Christmas at home after breakfast, then a bit of resting and organising time before going to Mum and Dads' for lunch and the rest of the day. Family dynamics can be a bit tense at times but yesterday went very well!

Aimee - hope you're able to rest up a lot today

Andrew was super excited but we had to make him wait nearly 1/2 an hour at the inlaws place so SIL could be there to open presents with us, but we gave in and let Andrew start opening them.

But we had a really enjoyable day as BIL was not there. We ate dinner and then put the boys to bed (well Andrew in his room at the inlaws with a DVD) and we sat round the table drinking wine and playing cards.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!
