jake and B2 will be 14-15months and I am honestly terrified of what's going to happen, so will resserve judgement until baby arrives.

Wow Deb you are keen!
There's 22 months between my two. I think it's a pretty good gap cos Paris and Ayja are great friends but Paris is just old enough to understand, but not old enough to be too displaced. Being heavily preg with a toddler is an interesting experience, but survivable. he he he
Seriously though, if i didn't have to finish my nursing, and Mike wasn't COMPLETELY against more kids, I would probably want to start trying again soon too. My babies are growing up too fast, I miss having snuggles with a sleeping baby, Ayja just does not snuggle, the closest i get is a bite on the chin or shoulder, and a slap on the nose, maybe if i'm lucky my hair gets pulled and I think I have more love to give to at least another 1 baby.

I wanna be pregnant again........ (but then I remember the heartburn, peeing every 5 minutes, not being able to sleep on my tummy, not being able to eat anything I want, being so tired...)
And then there is a the little problem of having a father for my child. If I got preggo again I'd probably end up with two fatherless kids...
Ah well... one day

there will be 2years 8 months between Sophie and our next one. With PND it's recommended to have at least a 2 year gap. Sophies at a great age now, and really interested in the new bub. I can see she will be lots of help - can you get mummy this or that...
it's been nice not to rush it and to be able to really enjoy time with Sophie.

not long to go now Lou. All these preggy mummies in this heat is bringing back memories of being pregnant with Alyssa through summer. Not fun.

Like Lizzle I'm going to reserve judgement until bubs is born. There will be about a 19 month gap between Alex & #2.
To be honest I'm a bit worried. I'm finding things very uncomfortable. I'm still breastfeeding Alex but now Bubs kicks like mad everytime I do plus the sore breasts factor.
Once bubs is born I think I will be sending Alex out onto the farm alot more with his Daddy!!

We've decided to wait til Jake is five before going for B3. Then again, with our history...jake is our "pill" baby, B2 is the 'breastfeeding is a natural contraception" baby, B3 will probably come along next year....

I would love to have more babies, but the actual HAVING of more babies is still too fresh in my memory to even contemplate it! lol I think I would like a 2-3 year gap.

We would have liked a smaller gap between kids, but sometimes life doesn't work out that way. Willie and I were separated until Maya was 20 mths old, started trying for # 2 in February, finally got preg in December, and that's the baby we lost. There would have been three and a hald years between Maya and baby, now it looks like it's going to be at least 4.
We are planning to start trying again as soon as we can (after my first post M/C cycle) because we're worried that it might take another year to get pregnant again. But fingers crossed it won't.
Willie has said only one more (he has older kids as well) but I would like to have 2 more. I always said 30 was my cut off point - I'm not having any more after 30. Not because I think there's anything wrong with being an 'older' Mum - just because having started at 21, I don't want to spend my 20's AND 30's with babies and toddlers.

yep we both said no babies after 30,
i actually talked about it with mike today, and he didn't completely rule it out like he usually did, maybe he's coming round to the idea, fingers crossed for the future - maybe in a couple of years... of course then i'd have to have another after that, so that it wasn't lonely.... he he he.

Trish - I can understand where you are coming from totally!
I think it is the best for us if we wait a bit though as I am already going a bit mental only having one! Am looking forwasrd to working again later this year and we want to buy a house in the nexzt couple of months so the extra $$ would come in handy!

I have a 10 yr old,5 year old and number 3 on the way.I think 5 years is a great age gap as my 2 girls get along great most of the time and i get to spend quality time with them when they are babies while the others are at school
