Has anyone else seriously thought of going under the knive?
I am and have started looking at plastic surgeons in NZ. I want a breast reduction and a tummy tuck but I still want another child. So i'm thinking that I can still look around for a surgeon and at the surgery but wait just a few years (and save for the operations).
I think I need to stop watching dr 90210 as well as everytime I watch it, it makes me want my surgery now.

once i have all my kids i will be getting an tummy tuck a couple of other things done, but this is manly due to having lost so much weight quickly due to the gastric bypass, that i have so much excess skin (about 5kgs worth in total) that i want it gone

I porb won't get it done tho cause we never be able to afford it and I really want more kids so by the time I am done will prob be too old to care so much.

Ooo I would love to get a breast lift and tummy tuck once Ive had all my kids. But then I would rather spend that money on taking my kids on holiday so will never happen unless I become rideculously (sp?) rich lol. Ooo then I could pay for you all hehehehe

When I hit 40 I'm getting a breast lift and a tummy tuck, i'll be done with child bearing by then, and as everything is already heading south, need as much help as i can get.
Kazzle - how did you get about having gastric bypass surgery? This is something I have thought about but not sure qualify.

I'm on the waiting list for a breast reduction and have been for 3 years (I'm not huge but have asymmetry issues which cause back pain etc - usually not an issue but I have major back problems so this is the easiest thing to do to help them). Last year I went in for the op and was ready to go (all drawn up etc) but they had an emergency and had to postpone. Unfortunately it was the only time I could have it without failing my course and putting my degree off, so I'm still waiting. Since I've been pregnant I've been called up twice to have the op! Murphy's blimmin law!
Mine's not counted at cosmetic surgery, but man will it make me feel so much better about myself when its done.

No way I'm way to scared for the pain. I had my tonsils out about 3 years ago and still go on about how bad it was

im determined to get the lasik eye surgery which is kind of cosmetic. im also considering a tummy tuck thing. My BIL is currently doing his last rotation/training and is going into bariatrics (sp?) and will be coming back here to set up his own practice doing stomach stapling, tummy tucks etc... so could be really tempting, although i dont know how i would feel about him seeing me naked!

yeah if I won lotto or came into alot of money I would do it - the boob and tummy tuck.
I do get back pain but more due to my crohns when it acts up - perhaps I can pretend its from my boobs and getting it done - medical insurance should cover it if its not costmetic - get it done a whole lot quicker...ummmmm wonder what I can say is wrong with my tummy too -

Hehe no offense taken! Unfortunately insurance don't cover it (well most insurance co's don't anyway) - hence the public waiting list. I'm just glad I haven't been bumped off like a lot of other people. Helps I have about 4 things wrong with my back, and they decided doing my boobs was the cheapest option for the most reward!

I was quite happy with one child but DH wanted 2- we made a deal that if I agreed to a second I got a big fat diamond, Jenny craig, tummy tuck and a breast augmentation. The diamond will be a while off and I'm starting the diet place here (similar to JC) once I finish BFing. Once I've lost weight then we'll look at getting them both done

I want a breast reduction, but now that Jack has sucked the life out of them, and lift would be good too. Other than that, though I would love tummy tuck etc, I would only look at that after losing a lot of weight and seeing what my body looks like then (no doubt breasts will be in even worse shape!)

I want a tummy tuck but I know I will be too chicken to actually do it. I also want an eye laser surgery but I'm too chicken to that too

Actually, I'd love lasik as well, I hate anything to do with eyes though, so I think they'd have to sedate me or something!!

I'd get my eyes done too - med insurance does cover that to a certain degree so I'd be quite happy with that. But only in a few years time, there's no way I can afford it plus I'm just not that annoyed with my contacts at this point.

I'm way too chicken for lasik so will just get contacts some time so I can ditch the glasses. What I want is botox in the lines that have magically appeared between my eyes from too much frowning!

I've read that with the lasik one, it's all done with a laser ie no actual cut. I'm pretty sure you can still see/hear everything thru the surgery and that freaks me out - even if it's only for a few minutes I still can't face it. Looks like I have to stick with glasses for a while yet
Maybe I'll get braver later - I used to think that once I gave birth I wouldn't be afraid of stuff like this but it still freaks me out

Fleury they tried to give me ice bloacks but I was too sore and lost from the drugs so I said no and got told off.
If it was free and painless I'd get my inner thighs sucked out, a butt implant and some lipo on my tum and hips.
