I can't believe how much Jeremy is eatting at the moment.
it would be great to hear from the other Mums out there with little ones to reassure me that I am not going to end up with a porker
6.30am BF
7.30 1cup muesli & fruit
9.30-11 sleep
11.30 bf
12 1 cup usually vege
1.30 rusk
2.30-4 sleep (hopefully)
4pm banana
3/4cup fruit usually with farax as well
5pm bf
6pm 1 cup vege and sometimes meat
7pm 225mils formula
and I know he would eat more if I was to give it to him
It just seems like a heck of a lot of food
anybody else have a 8month old piggy like me or is that not piggy and just a normal ammount

If you chuck in an extra BF during the day, a dream feed at 10.30pm and most nights a 3-4am feed as well (- the 4pm fruit and farex) then thats what Kates having too! I think its probably a bit more than average but unless hes gaining a significant amount of weight (ie jumping up a few percentile lines) I wouldn't be worried at all. I think it would be far more stressful having babies that don't eat!

Be glad hes having that much. Daniel, after a massive growth spurt, has decided he doesn't want much food anymore

Both of mine are huge eaters. Jack isn't that porky anymore and still eats so well. Its great because we have never had to stress about him not eating anything.
As long as you continue to offer him such healthy food he can eat as much as he wants.

It's difficult to know what a normal amount is, isn't it.
Gina has 3 formula bottles a day and 3 solids meals as well as snack mid-afternoon. How much she eats depends on how hungry she is and I never push it (too much )
As long as he's happy and growing well I wouldn't worry too much.

Charlotte you know how little my wee girl is. This is what she ate today
7am Bottle 150ml
8am 3/4 Cup Apple Muesli
11am Bottle 160ml & 2x Arrowroot Biscuits
12.30 Lunch - 1/2 Avocado, 1/2 banana & 1 baby yoghurt
2pm Bottle 120ml
3.30 Another Arrowroot Biscuit & some rockmelon
4.15 Bottle 120ml
5.30pm Dinner - 3/4 Cup Spaghetti Bolegnese
6.30pm Bottle - 160ml
Plus she is due a dream feed which will probably be another 150-170ml to see her through the night!
There is also probably a good 200ml of water throughout the day as well!
I think that Sam is having a growth spurt! I have never seen a baby eat so much in my life!
I'm not completely sure where she is putting it
Anyway, don't worry. Jeremy is completely normal

Lol, I wouldn't worry about the amount of food babies have - I know a little boy who eats about triple what lily eats including milk and is about a third of her size. Lily weighed in at 5 months at 8.8 kilos solely on breast milk.
So yeah - don't worry!
