YAY, have collected all the paper recycling, emptied the rubbish out of the bathrooms and that that had crept into the hallway awaiting collection. Vacuumed the hallway and Toms room (Plunket were right, turning the vacuum on does make them go back to sleep). Have put toilet cleaner in.

Now about to hang out 2 loads of Toms washing and start on ours.

need to clean out the fridge to fit the new box of organic veges we received this morning!!! YUMMMY.

I'm actually amazed at how easy it was and how much I have done.

but had to break as I was STARVING!!!! Thankfully the little guy has had a great sleep whilst his mummu has been slaving away.

Well done, wanna come do mine now? Ours is slowly deteriorating week by week as I get bigger!

In this months Your House and Garden, it has an article on cleaning your house quickly and efficiently. Working in zones, like doing bedrooms first, then bathroom, living and kitchen. Will give it a try when I dont move like a whale!

Thanks for the encouragement. I finally got it finished (well apart from our room). had to do the last bit of vacuuming and mopping the floors with Tom in his front pack..he tried to hold the vacuum for me.

Hope the rest of you had tidy houses too.

I spent this afternoon asleep on the couch, which considering I've been having trouble sleeping I think it was pretty productive.

I'm a bit like you nzpiper - I've been away camping for the past couple of weeks and spent all the time outside doing productive stuff - now I get home and am spending it all inside and not really having the 'drive' to do much(although I was a good wife and did about 5 loads of post-camping washing on Monday!)

This is me all the time. I'm kinda glad that this year I am studying on campus so I won't have this to distract me when I should be studying.

However my garden also distracts me from doing things round the home. Earlier tonight I sorted out my last planter box for my herbs and picked all the veges that were ready and still my dinner dishes sit on the bench.

I'm doing 2 extramural papers but i'm going to do the work out at Massey in the library. I figured that would be better for me. But i do have my papers here now so I really should get started as one of the papers I have 1 of the assignments pretty much sitting on my computer as I have done something like it for a different paper.
