I thought it was a great movie - loved it. And I'm a wuss when it comes to scary films, I hate them! Although there were bits that were scary, I think that because the rest of the film actually had a decent storyline that made you think it wasn't so bad. A huge commentary about humanity. And yes some moments that made me cry - maybe it's just cos of the preggie hormones though! .

Isn't Will Smith an amazing actor!

Will Smith is so good in it!

yep we watched it 'early' too - I really enjoyed it and yes Mr Smith is awesome! I guess part of what made it scary for me was the possibility that it, or something similar could (kinda, maybe, perhaps) happen.

You can watch the trailer and stuff and grasp what it's about. I thought it was quite good (apart from the cheesy end) and very well acted.

I really want to see this, but DH is a little reluctant, he wants to wait till it's on DVD.

I find Saw just too sadistic scary, very gory - have never managed to see one in full. I didn't like the Blair Witch Project as I got headache from the camera moving everywhere.
Anyways, it's not THAT scary. And def not gory. It has scary moments but that's about it - those don't extend for the full length of the movie

It's more just bits wher eyou don't expect things and things happen. We were in a cinema full of little giggly 14 yr old girls and they kept screaming all the time.

I think it may be one of those movies that loses the effect a bit if you don't see it at the movies, in the dark, with surround sound.

Now THAT would have given me a fright LOL. When we went, it was a Friday night and only young couples on a date around (and us). The ladies just kept cuddling up closer and closer to their big strong men

The couple with the new baby didn't mind!!! On the way out there was a dad carrying a carseat with a wee baby in it.
Would you take your new baby to a late movie?

We've just finished watching it, we got a DVD from a friend who got it from a friend who got it from Fiji.

Umm not as scary as I thought it would be, there were a couple of oh sh*t moments. The ending was kind of left opened... makes me wonder if they'll do a second one.

I know what part you mean.

DH watched it a few weeks ago and wants to call any dog we have Sam (he's even told our niece Sam not to be insulted if we get a dog and call it Sam lol).

I watched it for the first time on Friday night.  I was watching it in the laptop in bed and I had my headphones on because Michaela was going to sleep in the room next door - frig it was freaky!  Nearer the end I had to take the headphones off because it was all a bit too intense.

Great movie - absolutely loved it!

Me too.

Two parts really got me going. The Do not open till chirstmas bedroom (sob) and sam.

Good movie, although the computer generated stuff was soooo unrealsitic looking it tookthe scare away, to be hinest.

I just read a great book called bloodline about a similar scenario (but without the undead, lol) writen by an NZ auter, GREAT READ!

I thought the end was a cop-out. When you think about it there was no reason he had to do that.

I see on Perezhilton that they're making a prequel to it.

Thats what I said! I said to DF why couldnt he have jumped in that fireplace thing with them and quickly chucked the bomb out into the room...
Maybe he wanted to be with wife and daughter though...

over all, a good movie though
