Hi everybody I really need some more ideas for yummy low fat meals. I found a really good one in the WW mag and all my kids loved it so I'll start the ball rolling with that.
Please add any tried and true recipes.
Hoisin Pork
1/2 cup Hoisin sauce
2 tbs lemon juice
1 tsp soy sause
600g lean minced pork
1 red capsicum chopped
6 green onions (I just used a normal onion)
2 cloves garlic
3 tsp grated ginger
Combine first 3 ingredients put aside.
Spray pan with cooking spray and fry pork, onions and capsicum 5-6 min until pork browned and cooked through.
Add garlic and ginger cook for a couple more minutes.
Poor in combined sauces, stir and heat through.
Serve with rice and lettuce leaves.
Serves 4 with points value of 6 1/2 if you are doing WW.

Not a recipe as such but tacos are great!
The sauce is yummy as and is no points so depending on what you put in it its very low in points. I only put lettuce, carrot and capsicum with a ton of sauce so the only points is the shells

We ate a lot of stirfry. Nothing fancy just meat (chicken, pork or beef), rice and lots of mixed veges. Cooked the meat and veges in soy sauce and galric. Easy peasy!

I stirfry some corgettes (diced), tomatoes (diced with seeds taken out) and garlic slivers in a little olive oil (about 2tsp). Cook some pasta (about 2/3 cup dry weight). When pasta is cooked add the veg, and some shredded basil leaves, salt and pepper. I have this with either eye fillet steak or chicken. This serves one so you can double/triple ingredients etc.
I worked it out to be about 7points on WW and its yummy.

We often just do a grilled meat (chicken, pork, lamb, steak), and a salad with a lite dressing if any at all. A really nice summer meal and so easy as you can easily make enough salad for 2 nights (and lunch the next day too!)
We often put this in wraps or pita as well which is nice

Hoisin pork sounds so good. I have Taco for the first time in years the other night and i had forgotten how good they were.
