Great photo's everyone!!!
Mine look sooo dated now! We didn't hire a professional photographer either, but this photographer had done a few weddings before & did a pretty good job of ours. We had a lot of impromptu shots, which I think made the whole process much more relaxed .
Riki & I were married September 18 1999. We had our reception at the Mount Surf Club, which was awesome as we had the seaview in the background, so pretty! For our honeymoon we stayed in the Oceanside Towers for 5 days (which was just across the road from the surf club so we just walked across once we left the reception! Quite funny really!). We wanted to travel to Europe, so didn't want to spend a huge amount on the honeymoon, so our trip to Europe 2 yrs later was our belated honeymoon.
Oh and these pic's are photo's of photos - didn't have digital back then! So quality not so fantastic.

DH and I eloped and got married at Te Nikau, on the Kapiti Coast on our 2nd anniversary ... 28 July 2007
We had been planning the elopment since April 2007 .... and even the fact that I fell pregnant during that time only made the whole prospect of having our own special day more special.

The smiling bride ... with her bump (which I thought was huge at the time...little did i know lol)

The vows

Looking in on our special day

Saying hello to our daughter inside Mummys tummy

The happy couple
If you want to find out why we eloped and see more pics ... feel free to visit ....

We were married on the 15th May 2004 at Gracehill Kumeu. Both kids were involved too which was cool.
Our theme was Paua, my headpiece was especially made for me by one of the girls from NZ Wedding Planner. My necklace was also made for me by a jeweller in Glenfield. We got the paua for the cake off Trademe and the shell was from Living & Giving.
We went to Fiji for our "Familymoon" and stayed at the Shangri-la Fijian Resort.

Beautiful pictures ladies.
We got married on the 25th June 2003 in barbados and then honeymooned in Florida and had a small informal reception back in the UK.
Enjoying barbados before getting married (had to be there 3 working days before we could get a license)
My favourite one, have it hanging in lounge
Wedding Party
Kissing
Cake (excuse the horrid curtains, don't know why function rooms always have such strange decor)

OMG - how much fun is it looking at wedding photos!!?!?!
We were married 5th March 2005 - nearly 3yrs. WOW - time flies!
And before you ask - yes we were legal (we just look young and feel young at heart!)
Ceremony at Jury Gardens New Plymouth and reception at our local hall which we pimped (looked fantastic)! Along with the day my girl was born, it was the best day of my life and will never forget every single second. I don't have a pic of my cake, but it had two little minis on top just like our wedding cars!
We had 15 children at our wedding and centered everything around them (bubbles, helium balloons, present for each child at their table, colouring in placemats, a kiddie-corner at the reception with crayons and newsprint paper, kinder surprises as the bonbons. It was awesome, never heard a single cry, winge, moan or anything. And all the parents loved it too, said it was a fantastic idea having everything there to keep the kids busy. I wouldn't have wanted to do it without all the little ones around me and wouldn't have done it any different.
We had a tight budget for the wedding (it's amazing how little you need to spend) so that we could honeymoon on the gold coast for two weeks and then onto Bali for another week - it was an absolute dream.
My poor, gorgeous DH cried through the whole ceremony (happy tears I'm sure!)
The kiss
Me and my man
Us with my adorable (then 2yr old) nephew pageboy
My fav
Best of luck to all with impending nuptuals - you'll never regret doing it!

Awww I love people's wedding pics they are so special!
We got married on the 7th of January 2007, at Glenfalloch Gardens on the Peninsula in Dunedin... then we went for a drive to the Botanic gardens (where Andy proposed to me) for a picnic, before taking some photos at St Clair Beach... then back out to Glenfalloch gardens again to meet back up with our guests for our reception in the garden Chalet.
Here is us at the gardens:
And safely strapped into our wedding limo, on the way to photos at the beach:
One of my fave pics at St Clair Beach:
And the beautiful cake that my clever mummy made for us:

Forgot to say, we did our wedding on a tight budget too (hence the unprofessional photos... just had family taking pics). And we went to Rarotonga for a week for our honeymoon, which was fantastic!!

Wedding photos are just great, aren't they!
We got married on October 13th 2001 (13 unlucky for some, but we got married after 13yrs, so 13 is a good number for us!) at St. Chad's church in Sandringham, and had photos at the park down the road, sorry don't remember the name....but had a lot of fun as you'll be able to see!
My fav! One of my bridesmaids was 7mths preggy and wanted to climb the tree with the boys - we wouldn't let her!
DH was worried about what he'd got himself into!

13th October is my birthday! :)
To the bride that had a childs "corner" we did exactly the same thing - and it worked a treat! No tears, no noise anything it was perfect.
We also got the kids glow braclets and things like that off trademe, they made all sorts of things with them it was great! We also brought sparklers and the kids all had those outside - with an adult of course! PERFECT!

Here's some of mine. Got married on June 5th 2005
Ours was a very small low key affair (which we both wanted) - We got married at The Boatshed in Wellington and had our reception there as well.
We had an awesome day, it was just what we wanted.
Me and DH
Cakes - Small one was made by my grandmother (fruit... family tradition) - Big One was Chocolate Mud with White Choc Ganache icing and covered in white choc boards! Yum.

Waah... I need to get around to getting married. Unfortunately weddings are pricey! I'm going to have to use it as an excuse to get a nice pair of black Doc Martins... as I am NEVER EVER being caught in strappy heels, and I'm plenty tall enough without any heel at all. Plus they're functional and attractive And I LOVE Kilts... Would never get DF into a suit anyway. Will probably go for a black Utility Kilt, as we're about as far from scottish as they come, and he'd love one anyway... we don't want a big wedding, we don't drink, and my mother is a good musician, I'm hoping to get her to drag a friend or two from her irish music group down for when we do get married. 90% of the money for our wedding will be on clothing and venue. We want somewhere outdoorsy, not sure how much that will cost. I honestly wouldn't want strangers at my wedding, so professional photographers and stuff will be out... duno what we're going to do about the celebrant.

Yay for Spotlight, Mummy_becks.
And I love that blue flower photo. Seeing all these pics gives me fresh ideas for our business (we're wedding videographers )
Bellababysmum, do you mind me asking who your photographer was? The pics look awesome, and we get asked all the time if we know good people.
