I tested on Sat afternoon and got a very very faint positive test. I had purchased a 2 pack so I thought "what the heck, I'll use the second one this morning and will get a stronger result" but no...the result is still as faint as on sat afternoon.
Anyone else had this?
I'm seeing my doc for a blood test on Tues but am feeling a little unsure.

That happened when I was preggy with Steph, I test very early and got a faint line, tested 2 days later and it still faint. Its probably just super early.

Same thing happened here with me for this pregnancy, really faint positive tests but yup, I was pregnant! I needed the doctor to confirm it before I really believed too.

My lines were always quite faint, a line is a line they say
How far along would you be? Is AF late now?

Sounds like it is just due to being still very early on in your pregnancy.

I THINK, but don't know that AF would be due tomorrow? So yeah, early. I wasn't tracking my cycles though but I think they were 28 days (I did a calc from the first day of my first one to the first day of my 5th one...I've only had 5 since Elle was born...and the result was 28 days). :)
Certainly feel preggers! Yuck skin, ligament discomfort, slight nausea on and off etc.
Thanks guys!

I got a really weak pos when i first tested, i then did a digital one a couple of days later and it said positive. I like the digital ones because it takes the guess work out of it. Good luck for your Dr appt and blood test.

I don't think I ever got full on flashing neon signs on my preggy test...sounds like it's all good for you. Still it will be good to get the Dr's thumbs up...always makes it more real!

My lines were weak too. I only tested becuase instinct told me I was pregnant but I tested twice with weak lines both times. My doc didn't bother testing me again because she said that the two I did would be right and her tests were same as ones available over the counter.
My first MW appt we couldn't hear a heart beat (too early) so my husband had niggling doubts until he saw our baby on the ultra sound at 14 weeks - by then my morning sickness had me convinced that my little angel was on her way.
Good luck for docs.

p.s. I've always found my negative tests to be really strongly coloured lines. A weak in a positive is better than a strong in the negative.

I think I did about 5 over the space of a week and they were all really faint so I got all worried too but everything turned out ok.
Congratulations

I had two faint ones, the first one was the day before i was due for AF and the second was the day i was due for AF, a + is + regardless of the strength of the line as long as it showed up before the specified time.
If you are really unsure grab a digi that will actually say the words PREGNANT for reassurance.

I too will say a line is a line. Mine have never been as dark as the control line but have been positive each time anyways.

Going to get bloods done today. I'm taking Elle for her [late] 15mth jabs and if she is ok afterwards I'll get my bloods done. I'm very sure I'm preggers though as I can just feel it + the spots on my chest tell me so

So we're still hoping to keep this pregnancy quiet (you know, other than announcing it on a public forum..duh!)
How soon did you "pop-out" with number 2? I wasn't visably pregnant until about 16 weeks with Elle.

So frustrating. I was feeling really calm but I haven't had nausea today so now I'm a little worried that something's wrong. I'm sure it'll be fine! The first couple of months are just a bit scary eh.

I didn't 'pop' with DD until 15 or 16 weeks the first time, and it's taken longer this time around, more 17-18 weeks. Not what I expected! Bubs seems to have made up for it since then, however. I am growing quickly and it's a bit painful! My midwife said that the growing pains you get during pregnancy are often stronger/more painful in subsequent pregnancies.

Stop stressing, you'll be fine! I hope my pregnancy-induced neurosis isn't rubbing off on you!
Best of luck with your blood results, but don't be surprised if they are quite low, mine were only 137 with this bub at 15dpo which seemed low but was quite fine.

I was the same with Michaela I knew I was pregnant but didn't get any morning sickness for a few weeks. I was actually wishing for it so I could feel pregnant - silly me, wasn't long before I was wishing the nausea would stop!!
I popped out really early with Michaela and had to announce at 8 weeks becuase I'd already had 3 people ask me if I was preggers (and several others asking my friends).
One of my friends didn't realise she was pregnant with her second until someone else noticed her belly and suggested she take a test, it was still really early days but she got big quick. Granted we're both about 5 ft size 8s normally so there's nowhere else for baby to go except out.

LOL - don't you love friends?!! I spent the entire pregnancy being told I must be having twins or more because I was so big.
Even at my first antenatal class one of the other mums to be commented "I'm pleased you're the first due because you're huge" (she was due only 5 days after me) and the entire class expected me to come in to one of the sessions with a newborn baby - they thought I must have my dates wrong.
Way to make a big hormonal pregnant woman feel good!

I think maybe it might also relate to how strong your abs are. Mine are pretty good but I haven't put much effort in whereas before Elle I had really strong abs from lots of sit-ups, pilates, walking etc. I had intended to strenthen them fully again before getting prenant but can still do some work up until 12 weeks I guess. I'm already a bit bloated in the tummy but that'll be the progesterone..it's a nasty hormone!
Fitness is really impt to me and as I've had insomnia I'm not as fit was a I was when I got pregnant with Elle which is a shame. I think fitness makes pregnancy, birth and recovery so much easier!

I did pump (weight training class) at les mills before pregnant with Michaela so I had pretty good abs and nice muscles over all. Now I can still see the line where the abs seperated - ew! Really need to work on that before number two.

My results came back and my HCG levels at 14 DPO were 24. No wonder the positive result was sooooo weak 3 days before that!!!!!
24 sounds scarey to me but my doc said it is totally fine.
My HCG 14DPO with Elle was super high.
