There is something wrong with me! I simply cant sleep when I need to yet will get in the car to drive a 20min journey and will have to pull over to have a break.....
ie when Blake has his nap during the day I cant drift off and at night....Night I am up and down a million times to the loo and just cant relax...
Any any ideas???? I am so tired :(

Bath and warm drink before bed? Even if you dont actually sleep when Blake does during the day, at least have a lie down and rest. Or if you are really fidgety lie down and read a book or watch telly or something. It will make a difference just having a relax.

Yeah I agree with amimeejoy, I find that Im like that sometimes, I just cant wind down or sit still. When I drive I wanna sleep, I think its cos the car is warm and the movement makes me sleepy. But at night I will have a warm drink and read in bed and by the time Ive finished reading a paragraph of my magazine I cant keep my eyes open and I fall asleep.

I'm pretty similar to you - am 16 weeks and up about 7 times a night (including one time at least where I'm awake for a long time). Talked to MW today and she sent me to homeopath, as it's now turned into a bad sleep cycle and needs to be broken. Hopefully the tablets will work, but if not, the MW said she would consider a short course of sleeping pills to help break the cycle. I did the "no medicines" thing for 6 weeks, trying to break the cycle myself, but as I'm now feeling insane and having to take sick leave cos I'm so tired, I decided it was time to go a little more eavy duty!
