So instead of bagging something I am going to praise it.

I placed my first woolworths online order today. We live 40 min out of chch so I was suprised that a)they delivered and b) I could use my free codes from bounty pack. I placed my order about 11 am today and asked for delivery tomorrow (quietly cursing the wide time frame it could arrive (8am - 6pm).

Anyway I go to hang out another load of wahing at about 3.30 and low and behold (why did I say that?) there are 2 boxes sitting at my door. It is my delivery!!!!

GO WOOLWORTHS, cant beat that service. If I had packed Tom up and driven in, shopped myself and driven back I would have only saved about an hour!!!

Thats great!!! Good to hear a nice review, I'm surprised they would deliver out that far too. Quick question, did you get fresh fruit and veges and if so what were they like? Also do they deliver frozen goods? Oh and did it cost extra to have them deliered that far out? I suppose I could go look all this up myself!!

Excellent!! I love online grocery shopping, no parking, no silly old fuddy duddy ramming their trolley into you, no check out queue, no loading and unloading of the car, no stinking meat and fish department etc etc. The delivery fee is so worth it!!

What days do they deliver to your area? We only get Wednesdays and Saturdays. It's between 4 and 6pm on Wednesdays and I think 8 and 10am on Saturday mornings.

What about you Pak n Save shoppers? Does it work out much difference in price to change over and get delivery from Woolworths?

Online shopping rocks! Not that I've done it in a while, we've learned to be controlled with our grocery list. But we always had great service too!

And yes they do deliver fresh fruit and vege and your frozens.

We dont get chilled or frozen foods as we are too far away. I chose not to buy fresh produce as I am fussy and we are now getting our veges delivered from an organic farm.

I was so proud of myself until hubby got home and asked "why did you buy 6 packets of ready made gravy?" What?????? I bought stock!!! had a look in cupboard...hmmm ready made gravy. ooops. thought something looked different about them Duh!!!!

an easy mistake that anyone could make. I'll take them back tomorrow.

I love online shopping! I don't have to drag the kids out. Its also cheaper, even though there is a delivery fee I tend to buy just what we need not those impulse buys which makes a big difference. The frozen stuff is packed in a chilly bag and the fruit and veg are always good.

I love woolworths online! We shop with them so often I even bought the delivery guy a Christmas present.

We've only done our fortnightly shop at the supermarket twice since Michaela was born, the first (at 1 week old) was a disaster and the next one a few months ago took ages, she was in a cruddy mood and I had to pop out and change nap partway through.

I went shopping at paknsave the second time and spent about the same $ as I spend fortnightly at woolworths but with more impulse buys and it took heaps longer.

I usually sit down on a thursday night while Michaela's asleep and place my order which gets delivered the next day. If you shop regularly you can set up lists for things you always buy (milk, coffee etc) so you don't need to look for them.

The fruit and vege are great and if there's anything that looks a bit suspect (not very often) I just ring them and get the delivery guy to come back (he doesn't mind making a second trip because he gets paid for every per delivery, whether it's to the same house or not).

If you want something specifically (like stock) make sure you untick the substitutions box and I also provide my contact numbers with a note for them to call me if they need to make substitutions.

Woolworths online is the best!!

I take that back! Lol! Our woolworths does so online shopping! But $15.95 for delivery?!! Is that what everyone else pays? Seems unlikely that I would save that much on the items I buy, to make it work out cheaper than going to Pack n save?

It costs me $7.95 for delivery or we also have a pick up option (where they do the shopping and pack the bags for you and all you need to do is take 10mins out to pop into the store and grab them) which is $2.95.

I forgot to mention they often deliver complimentary items. We got a 1L DeWinkels acidophilus yoghurt and a tub of cream cheese last time (which probably cost the same as delivery) and some really nice cheeses and relish free with our pre-Christmas shop.
