Argh! Just realised my wedding and engagement ring are getting too tight. Tried to get them off first thing this morning, ran under cold tap and used soap but not a hope

What Monster said. Otherwise, stick your hand in the freezer for a minute or so, and see if that does the trick

There is a trick that ambulence staff use to get rings off, or fingers out of small spaces! It involves winding a piece of string around it, cant remember how but mum told me and they do it where she works at the Dr.
You could try ringing the Dr's and see if they know! |

Am going to try later tonight or first thing in the morning. They have puffed up with the heat (oh and prob all the weight gain!!). moisturiser is what we use at work when we have people with stuck rings come in and wanting them cut off. You will find the more you try, the more swollen your fingers get. Soapy water works for me, dunk your hands in a sink full of soapy water and take them off while soaking in the soapy bath. Just make sure you don't flush them down the drain after!

Finally managed to get them off last night. They looked like they had gone down slightly so just yanked and they eventually came off! Got a bit stuck on the knuckle and made the end of my finger go purple for a while but all good now. Got a lovely indent on my finger still so they must have been tight. And its white under there!!
