Anyone else watch this. I love Gordon Ramsay, but I don't think I could work in his kitchen with him, but I would love to met him.

Oh he would be there, I'd be there drinking with him. He's my celebrity crush at the moment.

I've been told I like arrogant men (Gorden, George Gregan, Ricky Ponting) but DH isn't one so i'm not sure how that works.

I can't stand him (but I do like his food)! I'll probably end up screaming back at him if I ever met him and I'm such a gentle soul normally

Yeah I'm a fan, I watch all his shows.. Have also read his autobiography which is great.

Funny thing is yeah he's a asshole in the kitchen, but for example on hell's kitchen when he's out with whatever team wins a challenge etc, he's really relaxed and funny. Whenever they show him with his kids he is really good with them.

Oh yes I love the opening bit of the F word yummy

I heard that in the latest Hells Kitchen he has done in the Uk on of the contestants pulled a knive on him. Can't wait for that to be showed here.

I don't know what it is about them, maybe its because they are good at what they do and they know it thats why they are a little arrogant.

I love watching Hell's kitchen especially, but he can be a bit OTT with the criticism and get really nasty. I wouldn't last in his kitchen, I would probably tell him to F off and that would be it. I also like the show where he goes to failing restaurants and helps them out, can't remember what its called.

I think he can get away with it because he is a celebrity chef and he is highly regarded, and he is usually right. I would love to try his food.

Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares is the name of the show. It used to be on Food TV at the same time as the F word but the F word was top priority.

That's it Mummy Becks, it also used to be on TV1 ages ago and its the same series. I like it in the F Word when he has a "bake off" with a famous person to see who gets a better rating for their food. don't know about the whole "him being hot" thing, I've never thought that about him, in fact I'd prefer it if he kept his shirt on!

Yeah, I don't know what it is about him because I find him strangely appealing as well - he's really grown on me though cos when I first saw him on tv I thought he was a right toss. I love all his shows but then I'm a huge reality tv junkie

I think if anyones arrogant I think it's some of the contestants who go on that show (remember the real estate agents??)!! They think they are the bees knees just 'cos they like to cook for a few friends at home and will cut it in a comercial kitchen with Gordon Ramsey serving 150 people!!!! Not quite as easy as it seems. I love the cook off too, especially when /Gordan loses, his face is classic!!

I trained as a chef and it's not something I would jump back into lighly!!

Haha the breast milk that was funny.

I think he is so lovely with his children (probably we see the good bits) and he cried when the pigs were killed how's he going to be with the lambs even after 1 has already been killed.

i think its good that he does get the animals and show his kids where the meat actually comes from though. I grew up on a farm and we always knew what the sheep were for and some you would get attached to but that was just the way it was.

I agree it is so nice to teach kids from an early age esp since kids are more excepting.

The lamb being attacked and eaten tho was really sad.

I was a little put off meat when I learnt where they come from as I always had a pet lamb in the spring.

One year I was eating dinner and my dad leaned over and told me we were eating Maggie (my lamb), I burst into tears and refused to eat any more.

I watch the F Word, i like it too, My big brother is a great chef and has worked in a lot of top class places in NZ and Oz, and is pretty much exactly the same as Gordon when he's in the kitchen.. he's more than a bit arrogant too, lol, I'd hate to work in his kitchen after some of the things he tells me... I never let him cook when he comes to my place cos he's used to people cleaning up after him and makes and awful mess, although i'm always worried when i cook something that he'll pick it apart.... so far i haven't had him do that yet, maybe he's just being nice.

He is so funny with the gay guy from how to look good naked. I think i'll be crying at the end of the show with him for the lambs.

I didn't watch them being slaughtered I just turned my head but could still hear it. I've seen it being done before and once was enough for me.

I just want to go to London to go to his restraunt.

yeah I watched it last night, it was a big gruesome when the lambs got the chop, but that's the reality and as a meat eater I felt obliged to watch really. I think good on him for showing the reality of it all.

Not sure about the goatee he looks like he is attempting to grow though.

MummyBecks - when we were living in London we tried for almost 2 years to get into his restaurant for dinner. Its almost impossible - you have to book a month in advance and they have a wierd system where you can only book a table exactly one month in advance to the day (ie if you wanted a table on June 1st, you would have to ring up on May 1st to book it) and they only take reservations between 10-12 each day, so quite a drama to try and get a table. We really regret no trying harder to get in, but figure at least now we have something to look forward to when we go back.

We did go to Anthony Bourdains restaurant on Park Ave, in New York when we were there. (foodies - he did the program "A cooks tour", and has written some great books!)

What was Anthony Bourdains restaurant like SimSam? I have seen him on TV he had a programme called "no reservations" too I think and he went around the world to some weird and wonderful places and ate some weird and wonderful food, he also came to NZ.

I would try my best to get in there, and make sure he was there as well. Or stalk him

I don't know what i'm going to do after next week if the next season doesn't play. I hope Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmare is still on Food TV.

My brother's girlfriend was the maitre'd at Fifteen which is Jamie Oliver's restaurant in London (one of them anyway) for a couple of years.

Is Anthony Bourdain the steak man? I've heard the name but can't quite place it.
