My MW told me that Gaviscon was better as it sat on top of the acid and didn't interfere with absorption, whereas quick-eze line the stomach. I thought the gaviscon tasted like cr*p though and took quick-eze instead.

I hated gaviscon cos it made me feel really sick, and quickeze didn't seem to work... I've been living on titralac though, sometimes it doesnt seem to work that well either but I just take more until it works

I lived on Mylanta when I was preg with the gremlins, literally ate it by the boxful! I had such chronic heartburn that I was chewing thru twice the daily recommended dose by the end.

Lol - Twice the recommended dosage?

It's justifiable though, you were compensating for the fact that there was TWO wee ones causing you grief.

Two babies - Twice the dosage

The titralac container doesn't even have a recommended limit per day, I don't think... just says take 2 whenever required. Which is a lot, lol.
