Thought Lily was going to be fine but had blood in her poo yesterday, aaargh, looks like she has the same milk protein intolerance that Joey had.
Back to dairy free for me breastfeeding then!!   Hoping she doesn't have it a severely as Joey did though as it took her a good 13 weeks to show symptoms as opposed to Joey's 8 weeks.

Hope you don't mind me asking, but how much blood? It's just that Cooper had streaks of blood in his poo a few weeks ago, the doc thought it might have had something to do with the gastro bug he had. But at the same time I'd cut down dramatically on my dairy intake as I thought it was causing his exzema to flare up. I just wonder if it could be the same thing??? Sparkle: Both Joey and Lily had green mucussy poo with streaks of blood. Joey seemed to get stomach cramps a lot but Lily hasn't been too bad yet. umm, Joey also occasionally has streaks of dark blood in his vomit. Haven't noticed that with lily yet either as she isn't a very spewy baby... It takes a good 2 - 3 weeks for the dairy to be out of your and baby's systems, so the symptoms should get better by then. ------------- http://lilypie.com">

Thanks. It's got me wondering now  The lab came back with the gastro, but that was after 3 Poo samples! Coopers poo was very green and stringy at the time, now a days its a greeny yellow colour. But then I've cut out most of my dairy (I still have milk in my tea - but maybe I should cut that out too????) He goes EVERY feed! So lots of nappy changing for me Including in the middle of the night after his 3.00 feed!!! ------------- http://lilypie.com">
