some of you may remember we have had nothing but dramas and problems with this house since the day we moved into it.
well today some guys turned up to water blast the house(we were only told about it last night). they started on the roof just above my dining room. 20 mins later i have water dripping down the door frame between the dining room and lounge,2 mins later there is water dripping out of 3 bits of the ceiling, 10 mins later there is water pouring out of light bulb/fitting in the dining room...... turns out this house isnt that water tight. they stopped for awhile and sorta fixed the problem then went back to it..... and have almost finished the roof and have done a bit of the side of the house where we discovered problem number 2- now i know sometimes in old houses that the windows leak a bit, but they started the front of the house and water came pouring in around all the windows in the lounge. there is a 5cm gap between one of the top and bottom windows!!! i am so ready to leave this house! i just hope that our boss finds us another house to live in before these babies are born or i might be staying with my grandma for awhile ------------- Natasha Jayde, 1-01-05(7lb3oz) Caroline Elisabeth, 9-04-08 (4lb15oz) Izabella Kate, 9-04-08(6lb7oz) Lexi Brenna, 23-01--2011(6lb6oz) |

I would want to bring new babies back there either. I know what you mean thou by laughing or crying, if you didn't laugh you would cry. ------------- I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived! |

thanks ladies....
i am waiting for the plumber dude to come and check everything in the ceiling. and at least the electricain made the joke that he is glad we are keeping his business going as it was the 5th time we have had someone from his company come out to fix something-4 times for this house and once for the shed. i am sure i could write a book!! the worst house in new zealand. and what if i hadnt demanded the electrician to come out and check it and i went and turned the light on or something.....it was already dodgy as anything. i coulda fried myself and these babies!!! ------------- Natasha Jayde, 1-01-05(7lb3oz) Caroline Elisabeth, 9-04-08 (4lb15oz) Izabella Kate, 9-04-08(6lb7oz) Lexi Brenna, 23-01--2011(6lb6oz) |
