<p align="left">Welcome to the OHbaby! Message Boards! These forums are a community-centred place where parents-to-be and parents can share their thoughts and ideas, ask for advice, tell their stories, find common interests, and generally sit and chat about any aspect of pregnancy, parenting, and their lives.

We want our members to feel comfortable and secure when they are visiting our Message Boards, and with that in mind, we need to be respectful and mindful of the following guidelines. Please keep these rules in mind as you read and use our Message Boards:

• We reserve the right to remove any post or user from our message boards, although we have no duty to do so. When posts are deleted, it’s usually because they violate one or more of our house rules. Repeated violation of these rules may result in the suspension of your posting privileges.

• You can create your own closed, password protected forums for you to talk privately with other members. This is our attempt to keep our special community alive and connected – we’re a small business with a big heart and so is our community and it’s worth protecting ☺ We understand that some people want to create closed facebook groups, however we ask that if you meet via OHbaby! we ask that you respect our request to keep your new found OHbaby! friendships and community within the OHbaby! website, by not posting or private messaging members about closed facebook groups. To create your own password protected group anytime simply email matthew@ohbaby.co.nz and he will create your closed group and you can post photos and other information to your special community pages.

• The forums are a public place, and anything that you post in these Message Boards can be seen by everyone else. Don’t post something that you wouldn’t want other people reading and commenting on – the Message Board is not the place for personal information or private matters. A good guideline is to think to yourself, “Would I want my boss reading this?” If the answer is “No”, then don’t post it – unless you don’t mind other people knowing your business! If you want to ask for advice on a sensitive topic, make sure to protect your own privacy and the privacy of others, especially your children.

• When posting on the Message Boards, you are expected to adopt a respectful, friendly, open-minded tone when addressing others in their posts, when responding to other people’s comments, and when giving their opinions. Name-calling and rudeness will not be tolerated.

• This is a family-oriented forum, so topics need to be “clean”. We do not allow racist, obscene, or sexually explicit remarks. We reserve the right to remove posts that are offensive, abusive, hateful, defamatory, or insulting to other members.

• “Sticky topics” are at the discretion of the Admin team, and just because you ask for us to “sticky” a topic doesn’t mean that we will necessarily do so. We have a responsibility to protect our members’ best interests, and we are very selective when making topics prominent on the Boards by giving them “sticky” status.

• If you are posting photographs, do so in the special Photo Gallery. If you are posting photos of someone else’s child, you must have their permission before doing so.

• Absolutely NO solicitation, advertising, or promotion of your products or services, private sales or auction listings are permitted. This includes, but is not limited to, advertising or promoting someone else's business, asking for interest in a business idea, and posting links to surveys and competitions on other websites. We reserve the right to remove posts that contravene these guidelines without notification or discussion. We have a wonderful advertising package available to mums with businesses who wish to promote themselves in our Directory. Contact  mailto:shannon@ohbaby.co.nz" rel="nofollow - shannon@ohbaby.co.nz for details.

Keeping in mind articles, recipes, poems, art or graphics may be posted without the express written consent of the copyright holder.
