I don't know what else to call it, and I will say that it's not entirely in character for me to want to spend a whole day cleaning ! But I've had trouble stopping (today), and will copy and paste a bit from a conversation I had with Toni_akl to show you what I mean LOL I go back to work tomorrow and just wanted to get a few things done ya know...

Toni says:
maybe you're nesting early?   lol

jax - back home in Auckland, NZ says:
I think so   I have never had the urge to clean *all* day... !! I did four loads of laundry, the dishes, cleaned the kitchen bench and stovetop, vacuumed and mopped the kitchen floor, got some groceries we'd forgotten on Saturday, picked up some more cat food (I get it in special 15kg bags), got the car rego done, put the compost out, vacuumed the hallways with shake 'n vac...

jax - back home in Auckland, NZ says:
Oh ! And figured out who my midwife is going to be etc.

Toni says:
OMG! whilst you're in the mood can you come and do mine?   I can't be arsed, it's too hot! LOL

jax - back home in Auckland, NZ says:
OMG? LOL And I had other stuff I wanted to do too   Like the fridge needs a clean, so does the pantry, and our bathroom is dirty as !

jax - back home in Auckland, NZ says:
Yeah... it was a bit rough with the heat, but I just cracked open every single window I could find

Toni says:
you're nuts lady!

I've also had a whole bunch of thoughts today about the benefits of being a SAHM (stay at home mum), and funnily enough when I was on the phone to Rols earlier today he mentioned that he wanted to sit down and talk later tonight about our budget, and whether or not we should consider extending my time off after bubs comes. We've already done a budget based around the parental leave that I am entitled to, and I was planning on taking roughly two weeks prior to due date, and then the rest afterwards. Based on that plan I hadn't actually figured out what I'd do when my leave ran out, nor had I discussed it with my boss - I'm hesitant because of how she dragged her heels so much about it in the first place. However, I'm really hopeful that Rols and I will be able to plan out something better that will allow me to spend even more time at home with bubs, even if we are reduced to a single income for part of it.
